HypershakerPrice: £20.00
For the head shaking horse who shakes all year round. The problem is not related to pollen or dust. Manic shaking to get rid of something in the head, possibly noises or tension.
A combination of herbs to de-fur the arteries, lessen the tension and nourish the facial nerves.
Contains: Extracts of Valerian, Hawthorn, Linden flowers and other tension lessening, de-furring herbs.
1 litre self dispensing bottle
--The pop up on the quote on the Portfolio page now says "This must mean something...everything has a purpose."
--The pop up on the quote on the Jobs page is now gone. Also missing from this page is the "Hypershaker" link and the "job" offer that contained it.
--The "hidden logo" on the home page is also now missing.
JimS - - Nice catch on the anagram...I missed that one. I thought it might have something to do with the now missing logo looking like an "S"
The plot thickens...

I had seen that too but refrained from posting it...although maybe this is what they use on the horse from Storm Runner? ;)
Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger
There’s a lot I don’t get:
1) Why initiate this viral campaign? Where’s the ROI in engaging a few hundred (or even thousand) enthusiasts with a bogus Web site in this manner. Seems like there are more direct ways to create buzz on Coasterbuzz. Intentionally leak some specs. Place a piece of steel track (any track will do), mostly covered by a tarp, off Park Blvd.
2) When and how will the general public be engaged? Even if the Harrisburg Patriot-News gets the story, there’re no widespread “get your secret decoder ring in your box of sugar puffs” opportunity to engage the widespread population. Binary code puzzles don’t play big in Peoria. Or Camp Hill.
3) If the truth is being revealed on 10/2, what’s being revealed now? If we navigate this X-Files – like “the truth is out there” labyrinth, are we being fed misinformation? 11 I’s, lift Intiman anagram would be a great set up for the 10/2 announcement the park really ought to be making: bye bye Canyon River Rapids, hello Wave Pool.
Note: no personal preferences expressed here. Me personally, I’d love to get my wider-than-I’d-like rump in the seat of HP’s 12th , but, I am telling you, after two visits this year, it is not what the place needs. First priority is to take care of the mess they started with the ill-conceived Boardwalk installation.
Anyhow, makes for interesting days, from an enthusiast and a student of marketing perspective. And, (I can’t help getting sucked in a little bit here): I wonder if the out of office reply folks referred to was intentional. Despite the curious start and end dates of the autoreply, the rest of the set-up of e-mail communication perpetuates the charade with no direct, obvious connection to HP (via hersheypa.com site). Today’s quote on http://www.nantimi.com/about.html starts “Mistakes are almost always of a sacred nature….”

Some kid on TPR figured out something...
Personally, I think this whole thing that Hershey is doing is pretty bad ass.
I deconstructed the .gif into what I'm pretty sure are all its individual frames. I'm not super familiar with Hershey, but it's safe to say that whatever slide tower that is is a goner.
Also, [disclaimer: this is pure speculation] in the fuzzy blueprint-esque shot, I believe I'm seeing a vertical lift, vertical or past-vertical drop into a "Norwegian Loop" ( http://rcdb.com/ig3245.htm?picture=11 ), closely followed by a Cobra Roll and after that... a delightful mess of Intamin track.
Get excited kids, get excited.

As for people questioning the ROI, as far as I can tell none of this had to have taken *that* long. Don't think of this as some sort of massive investment of time and money on behalf of Hershey. Having a little fun with enthusiasts is obviously not a huge market to be angling for but this isn't exactly a huge undertaking either.
Think of the time and money it takes to sponsor a coaster enthusiast event. Think of the time and money spent on construction webcams. Think of the time and money it takes for CP to invest on those construction diaries and the main blog. All of those things are mostly geard to coaster nerds like us but are far bigger projects then just a little promotional fun like this.
When you see a coaster show on TLC, Discovery or the Travel Channel you don't see them using the general population to ride and review. No you see people like Paul Reubens, or some other enthusiast to build excitement. Someone that will say "This is the best ride in the world." Someone that might actually get some of the general population excited enough to check out the new coaster.
Hershey is a great park, and I am looking forward to riding. I told you it wouldn't be something that has been seen here in the states by Intamin anyway. You enthusiasts never listen. ;)
