I think Maxil223 and Steel Venom07 redo their trips better. It looks like alot of double backs and forths (Alot added miles and time). Maybe they should look at a map for better planning. Maxil223 I would of doing CP,GL, then Knoebels,DP and save PKI on the way back to the badger state. Steel Venom07 I would skip VF(I think VF is SV07 home park) and do PKI on the way home from Dollywood. VF is my home park I can VF any time.
Well, since I am only 50 miles away it would be very hard to do, but here we go...

Day 1: Knoebel's
Day 2: Lakemont Park/DelGrosso's
Day 3: Kennywood
Day 4: Conneaut Lake/Waldameer
Day 5: Geauga Lake
Day 6: Cedar Point
Day 7: Cedar Point
Day 8: King's Island
Day 9: William's Grove
Day 10: Hersheypark/Back to Bloomsburg *** Edited 5/30/2004 5:38:21 AM UTC by TalonJosh1491***

Just came home to europe today from our trip through ohio and pennsylvania. With days in between for driving and stuff our trip was:

1. Waldameer Park - also tried Conneaut Lake but was closed
2. Geauga Lake
3. Cedar Point (2 days)
4. Dorneypark
5. Knoebels
6. Hersheypark
7. Kennywood
8. Paramount's Kings Island

BIG FUN! Hope i can get a trip-report up sometime, but i guess i first have to let all those new parks, coasters and impressions get set a little.

CEDAR POINT TRIP EARLY JULY 2004!!!!
Word.
That is a lot of time at Cedar Point. I would at least run over to Geauga Lake for one day Maxil.
That wouldnt be such a bad idea. What would your trip be?

CEDAR POINT TRIP EARLY JULY 2004!!!!
I don't have time to come up with a trip I can't go on right now... I go to Cedar Point or King's Island just about every week so those are out. I plan on taking a trip to Kennywood, Knoebel's, Hershey, Dorney, Darien Lake, and Canada's Wonderland at some point this year. Those may all be 1 trip or possilbe 3 trips.

How about a trip all across the United States going to parks. Can you imagine what that would cost.

Down is the new up.
(NOTE: All mileages are as reported on rcdb which lists distance as the crow flies, not actual driving distance)
Day 1 - Hershey
(41 miles to Knoebels)
Day 2 - Knoebels
(171 miles to SFDL)
Day 3 - SFDL
(47 miles to Seabreeze)
Day 4 - Seabreeze/MFI (71 miles from SB to MFI)
(5 miles to Marineland)
Day 5 - Marineland
(59 miles to PCW)
Day 6 - PCW
(15 miles to CNE)
Day 7 - CNE
(111 miles to Waldameer)
Day 8 - Waldameer/Conneaut (33 miles from Waldameer to Conneaut)
(89 miles from Conneaut to KW)
Day 9 - Kennywood
(31 miles from KW to Idlewild)
Day 10 - Idlewild/Lakemont (48 miles from Idlewild to Lakemont)
(12 miles from Lakemont to DelGrosso's)
Day 11 - DelGrosso's/Dutch Wonderland (112 miles from DelGrosso's to DW)
(29 miles from DW to HP)
Day 12 - Hersheypark

You can't go wrong with a road trip that begins and ends with HP...LOL

Seriously, since this is a "Hershey" road trip and HP is one of my favorite parks, I wanted to begin and end my trip there.

The methodology behind my trip is that I don't like to combine parks with a ton of driving so I didn't want to go too far. Thus my longest drive is between Knoebels and SFDL at 171 miles. The only day that may be a stretch is day 11. I have been to DW, but wanted to include it as well (since it is also owned by Hershey)..Still that could be a long day with the long drive between the two parks.

At the same time, I wanted to get some parks in there that I have not been to (Days 3,4,5,6,7,8,10 and half of day 11), with a few of my favorites that I have been to. This I opted to skip a trip that included the likes of DP, SFGAdv, Williams Grove and SFA. There is nothing wrong with those parks, I just couldn't fit them into my plan.

According to the official rules:

"Maximum of 8 hours chauffeur driving time per day."

Also:

"Trip includes chauffeur, chauffeur expenses and chauffeur hotel accommodations...Prize includes $6,000 for travel, hotel, gas, tolls, meals and general expenses plus $2,500 in American Express Travelers Checks spending money."

It becomes a bit more realistic when you have to follow the rules - And it's a 10 day trip, not a 12 day trip.
