Hershey Road Trip Idea

A road Trip that includes Hershepark...

Day 1) Hersheypark

Day 2) WilliamsGrove

Day 3) DutchWonderland

Day 4) Dorney Park

Day 5) Six Flags America

Day 6) Knoebels

Each night returning home since all are with in 2hrs of my front door...

Seriously... the three road trips I have done / have planned are as follows:

June 2002:

Day 2) Six Flags Darien Lake

Day 3) Waldamere and Conneaut Lake

Day 4) Kennywood

August 2003:

Day 2) Marineland (Ontario)

Day 4) Martin's Fantasy Island

Day 5) Seabreeze

Day 6) Great Escape

Day 7) Canobie Lake

Day 8) Funtown USA and Palace Playland (old orchard beach ME)

Day 9) Lake Compounce and Rye Playland

June 2004 (planned):

Day 2) Paramount's Carowinds

Day 3) Myrtle Beach Pavilion

Day 4) Myrtle Beach Grand Prix and Family Kingdom

Day 10) Miracle Strip Amusement Park

Day 11) Wild Adventures

Day 12) Six Flags Over Georgia

Day 13) Visionland and Lake Winnie

So I don't have 10 days for this trip, but I am leaving on Saturday the 19th for the following (and my mileage is close to actual). This si also the first test of ours of driving to the next park the night before so we can just rest well that night and be at the park in the morning. Last year it was the "wake up and drive" game, and it was alright. We'll see how this works...

Drive to Lakemont
95 miles (2.5 hours)
Lakemont
11am to 8pm -- will be there at the end of the day
Drive to Six Flags America
180 miles (3.5 hours)

6/21 Monday
Drive to Six Flags America
10 miles from our hotel (20 minutes)
Six Flags America
10:30 am to 9pm
Drive to Paramount’s Kings Dominion after close
110 miles (2 hours)

6/22 Tuesday
Paramount’s Kings Dominion
10:30am to 10pm

6/23 Wednesday
Paramount’s Kings Dominion
10:30am to 10pm
Drive to Williamsburg after close
72 miles (1.25 hours)

6/24 Thursday
Busch Garden’s Williamsburg
10am to 10pm

6/25 Friday
Drive back to Chicago
780 miles (12 hours)

Ooops, I forgot the Hershey Park bit of the trip. Oh well, that would have to be next summer :)
