Its pointless to argue the difference between B&M coasters as each will run differently depending on the park, the park's location & weather, the parts used, the maintenance, etc., etc., etc.

I was using exaggeration to illustrate that the very statement, 'Nitro is the roughest B&M I've been on,' is ludicrous, and that anyone who thinks so should probably stick to riding the carousel. :)

OK kids....go to opposite corners and count to ten. Calmer heads need to prevail.

SFMM15 didn't say Nitro was rough. Rather he said it was the "roughest of the B&M's he's ridden." There is a HUGE difference there, and there's no need for Vater to feel personally offended by his statement.

Anyone who's been riding coasters for any number of years can tell you that all coasters offer good and bad ride experiences depending on weather, maintenance, how full the train is, etc. Its entirely possible to ride the same coaster on the same day and get two totally different ride experiences. Having ridden Nitro on a cold, windy day last October I can tell you that it doesn't always offer great rides, but I'm smart enough and have enough previous experience not to judge it on one day, much like my disappointing experience with Shivering Timbers a few weeks ago.

SFMM15 didn't say Nitro was a bad ride, nor did he say he didn't have fun. All he said was that it was the roughest of the B&Ms he's ridden. Who are we to doubt his personal experience?
