Has anyone been to GL's Wild Water kingdom this year?

Re: Carousels that CP owns?

CP has the GL carousel, & the Euclid Beach Racing Derby, but does not have the Euclid Beach PTC Carrousel.

CF does not treat their carousels well, nor do they treat their wooden coasters well (poor Mean Streak!) -- & aren't they even tending to take out wooden coasters to put in steel coasters?

One can dream!

Wasn't the last woodie CF removed Hercules? Doesn't sound like much of a trend to me.

Nor was it a loss (ditto if Mean Streak ever goes away).

Blue Streak has been extreemly well maintained. It feels like it's getting better year after year.

When the upstops catch and you can feel the train land back on the rails, yes, I'd say they're doing a pretty good job.

Kennywood at least has a few billboards and the occasional commercial in the Cleveland area, but Waldameer is basically unknown.

I think (this year more than ever) that "occasional" is an understatement. I'm hearing Kennywood commercials as much as Cedar Point commercials.

*filtered voice* Phsshhh. Kennywood is go for launch. Well, almost. We're almost go for launch.
