Great Adventure 2005? Tallest Fastest?

Is that the Talon?
'Owner of the file has exceeded their daily limit.'

I wanna see! :(

If Great Adventure does try to get a taller coaster then Cedar Point it would be cool. But wasn't their an article or something that they couldn't go over 300ft.?

The future is in your hands!
I'm not sure which of the following statements has more truth to it:

1. That drawing was the actual coaster for SFGADV.

or

2. Viper is smoother than any B&M.

hmm...

2. is CLOSER to true, provided you're referring to SFMM's Viper and not GAdv's...;)

Regardless, if I were building a coaster of the *reported* dimensions, I'm not SO sure I'd stick with Intamin...sure they're FUN, but how reliable? Then again, other companies with launch mechanisms (notably, Premier and S&S) haven't exactly drawn in a bunch of big contracts either lately...

So...how about I split the difference and get an *S&S launch* steel stratacoaster, but have Premier do the trains (sans OTSRs)...no hydraulics "issues" to deal with, and no launched RIDERS...and it gives S&S a shot to get back into the *steel coaster* market...everybody WINS! :)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Why is most everyone assuming it has to be full circuit?

Because we've found shuttle coaster capacity at GAdv to be a problem? ;)
2480ft long shuttle???? sounds good to me

Think dual shuttle, Lover.
Oh no, not again!

WHAT??? Why are you calling HIM "lover"...;)

But, that WOULD help to alleviate the capacity problem....now if we went to FOUR tracks instead, we could make capacity issues disappear AND still get 620' of track length to reach the height (with "barely" enough track left for the launch)....:)

Wait, was I joking? ;)

its gonna be a family or kiddie coaster. you heard it here first folks

Top 5 wood: 1.Hades 2.Voyage 3.Boulder Dash 4.Avalanche 5.Legend
Top 5 Steel: 1.Maverick 2.Fire Dragon 3.Batman 4.Raptor 5.Ice Dragon

dueling wooden impulses with individual hanggliders so when riders are bored they can fly into the outer regions of the atmosphere before spontaniously combusting!!!!

It will be a really big Lemon Chill cart and the staff will know *everything*.

Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

Could it be possibly this crazy contraption?

Heh, that coaster looks like a toy I had a very long time ago. (You put the cars in the top and the go down and flip the curves. Someone has to know what I'm talking about. :))

PS: On that coaster page it says the restraints are escape proof. Nothing is escape proof! Muahahaha! (Late night with a Regents tomorrow, I should really get some sleep :)) *** Edited 6/17/2004 4:10:54 AM UTC by RCT_MASTER***

i was at hershey with Kristin Marie last friday....storm runner indeed never opened....lol....what i dont understand is how do the Swiss make such nice watches and knives, but make coasters that are the posterchild of Unreliable?

anyway....i dont care what Gadv builds, i know it will be a great ride...thats an awesome park :)

still trying to think of a good signature...

I would reword the statement "how do the Swiss make such nice watches and knives, but make coasters that are the posterchild of Unreliable?"

You will need to be more specific when you say Swiss.

Yeah, I agree. They can't even make cheese without holes in it.
