I wanna see! :(
1. That drawing was the actual coaster for SFGADV.
or
2. Viper is smoother than any B&M.
hmm...
Regardless, if I were building a coaster of the *reported* dimensions, I'm not SO sure I'd stick with Intamin...sure they're FUN, but how reliable? Then again, other companies with launch mechanisms (notably, Premier and S&S) haven't exactly drawn in a bunch of big contracts either lately...
So...how about I split the difference and get an *S&S launch* steel stratacoaster, but have Premier do the trains (sans OTSRs)...no hydraulics "issues" to deal with, and no launched RIDERS...and it gives S&S a shot to get back into the *steel coaster* market...everybody WINS! :)
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
But, that WOULD help to alleviate the capacity problem....now if we went to FOUR tracks instead, we could make capacity issues disappear AND still get 620' of track length to reach the height (with "barely" enough track left for the launch)....:)
Wait, was I joking? ;)
Top 5 wood: 1.Hades 2.Voyage 3.Boulder Dash 4.Avalanche 5.Legend
Top 5 Steel: 1.Maverick 2.Fire Dragon 3.Batman 4.Raptor 5.Ice Dragon
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
PS: On that coaster page it says the restraints are escape proof. Nothing is escape proof! Muahahaha! (Late night with a Regents tomorrow, I should really get some sleep :)) *** Edited 6/17/2004 4:10:54 AM UTC by RCT_MASTER***
