Goodbye!

WAIT! STOP! ENOUGH!

SilverStar, I beg you, PLEASE come back. I will crawl to your house on bloodied knees and tug your pants and beg.

You are single-handedly the most important poster here. I log in every hour with bated breath looking only for posts with your precious username and weep hot tears of sorrow when they're not there. I know it's so hard to crawl out from under that pile of hormonally-crazed cheerleaders from three counties 'round..but it's so worth it. So very, very worth it.

Your RCT coasters are of such awesome grace and staggering perfection that Walter & Claude simultaneously crapped themselves on sight of them--and they just kept sitting there.

Your posts bring order to a chaotic world and your coasters are the only hope for world peace. I beg of you, don't leave us.

Excuse me while I sob uncontrollably. Ahem.

It's the bad influence of television, I tell ya. That show Ren and Stimpy made "Rediculous" a part of the lexicon.

I thought it was Balki from Perfect Strangers? ;)

Yes, this person is a whiner, agreed.

However, I find it ironic that a lot of the buzzers in this thread are taking the time to inform him to "get a life" or "do something constructive." Even more ironic are those practically writing a dissertation to do so.

Come on, a lot of you are better than that; ignore him.

Even more ironic: Posting in a half-baked thread to appeal to common sense...

I find it "redidculous" that you can't proofread your posts before you send them here!

So you're leaving eh? I find it a "mirlicale" that it took someone with your intellect to find reason to leave this site since your contribution is this waste of a thread.... BUH-leted!!!

what like missing the space between proof and read? ;)

Remember "root words" in school? Why is it that no one can figure out that "ridicule" is the root for "ridiculous?" I see it spelled correctly about one in four times on the Internet.

It always makes me sad that in the wake of one of the greatest means of communication ever that it's used so poorly.

Spell check on a forum board perhaps? :)

A goodbye post... how "RRC-ish".

I see the reaction to such a post is the same in both worlds...

Now where the hell did I put my violin?

This post did it... it finally did it... It has pushed me over the edge to down load the Coasterbuzz Club membership application form to fill out and send in along with my $20... Not only to do my little part to keep the site alive... but also so I can say snide and cynical comments about posts such as Silver Stars with out feeling like a hypocrite!

Now I will make the grand standing announcement that I must say "Good Bye... for now..." and sign off and get some actual work done this afternoon... thus ruining any chances of me having anymore "good times" until I sign back on later this afternoon.

So now I must bid you all adieu, aloha, ariverdierchi, sionara, hasta la vista, chao, and various other incorreclty spelled forms of "good bye" in foreign languages...

What's funnier than his sad attempt for attention, is the fact that he hasn't deleted his account yet.

Okay, I'm baaaaaack.... Still did not get the work done that I should have gotten done this afternoon... the violin has been tuned up for SilverStar's lament... and the check is in the mail.

I'm sure that he wanted an outpouring of sentiment so that he would feel loved and needed and ultimately decide to stick around because of how much Coasterbuzz would suffer without his deep, meaningful and grammatically-flawless posts... shame on all of you for your failing to make him want to hang around.

Wow, I sense a lot of hostility here.

There are those of us who choose to not pay for the site, and the reason behind it is simple... I don't pay for this site because nothing in the paid section would justify me paying for it. I don't live in Ohio, I don't have the means to travel to Ohio currently, but I do occasionally post on here (much to everyone's delight) and post and contribute news as warrented.

If I could get value out of paying for the site, I might consider it. But then again, when you start charging for content, people will eventually go out a seek a source that does not. You may hang on to a "core" audience, but if people can't justify the value, they will go elsewhere.

I don't doubt it hasn't crossed Jeff's mind to make the news articles "pay per view" or you can sign up for a yearly subscription fee to read them. But there are just some ideas that you can't implement because someone else would step up to take the place with freebie articles.

No kidding Rentzy17......the fact that he's posting without paying doesn't tell him you don't have to pay for this site? It just smells like attention-whoreing.

Kids ages 15 and younger in the US have an average allowance of $15 a week. Maybe yours is a different circumstance. However, way back when I was 13 I could come up with $20 a year! If I wanted something bad enough I could come up with $20 anytime I wanted it. You just have to work for it. Wait, did I say work! What a harsh word to use when speaking to a 13 year old.

The fat lady is on the chorus so I guess it is time to go! See you SilverStar, when you are in your 20's you might understand this money and maturity thing and see why Jeff had no other choice. Until then enjoy your adolescence.

Oh to be young and think that the world owes me again!

$20 per year = 38.46 CENTS per week. If you buy one less can of soda every two weeks (75c ea) you only need to come up with another 3 cents...

Yep...it's tooooo hard to come up with the money (/sarcasm off)

X- the coaster designed to break all the rules

It gives me joy to see posts like this on this site and although I couldn't help reading this whole post, I think it would be nice to give members privledges.

A seperate board would be nice where stupidity would be banned and the "experts" on coasters could converse. Don't get me wrong the way it is now is a nice setup but the occasional town idiot can get to be annoying.

By the way i'm 16 and your age doesn't determine anything when it comes to your knowledge.
