Good Coaster Names - CoasterBuzz

I always liked 'Judge Roy Scream'. I have never been on the coaster, but a name like that makes me want to ride it!

I am not a big fans of the names Kumba, Montu, and Gwazi. Too many 5 character names ending in vowels - it's too hard to remember which ride is which (no offense ColumbusCoaster). But anything is better then Superman, Spider Man, etc.

I think the unique names like Montu or Kumba make it easier to remember which ride is which.

Even though its not very fitting for a suspended coaster, XLR-8 is a very clever play on words.

I think Millenium Force, Raptor, Magnum, Dueling Dragons, The Villain, Texas Giant

Magnum's name is cool because of the size of it compared to any other coaster when it opened. It seemed that, back in the day, if you rode the Magnum, you were considered cool. Personally, I think that Psycadelica would have been pretty cool...but in the end, I think they opted with the right choice in the name.

Banshee is an awesome name. Since Cedar Point went back on its own announcement, and decided to call the ride Mantis, I hope that one day they will name one of their coasters Banshee...perhaps a woodie.
