Say goodbye to Six Flags Over Georgia's Viper, Sunday, September 16. The park invites all American Coaster Enthusiast members to say goodbye to Viper, "The Coaster That Strikes Twice!" with a free 2-hour VIPER-THON exclusive ride time, including night rides on the Great American Scream Machine. Participating ACE members will have the very last rides on Viper since the ride, which was originally Tidal Wave at Six Flags Great America, is being permanently removed after the ERT.

I used to ride Viper alot when it was The Tidal Wave at Six Flags Great America. I rode in the front car, the back car and every one in between.

I liked the way the lights would clase along with the  train at night. I was planning a trip to Georgia to ride it again and experience the 4-g's that it has

Too late now!

I should have gone to SFoG this year! Any-way I hope some park will bring the Viper into thier nest, Pun very much intended. Hopefully BGW would so they will have two Swartzkopfs onec again. I hope it doesn't leave the country, it seems like all of our old Swartzkopfs go to South America or Kuwait.

The Original Duke From Danimation!
Let's get something straight!  This poor ride has suffered an idenitity crisis and has been mis-placed in the confederate land.  The ride shall always be known as Tidal Wave and needs to come back home to yankee teritorry.  I'm thinking Big Chief in Wis. Dells should adopt this puppy!
I think we MAY have the answer to the question we've all been asking:  what is to become of the Viper, aka Tidal Wave, the coaster that strikes twice?   Visionland!http://coasternet.danimation.com/news.htmlSFoG article -please take at face value
