Say goodbye to Six Flags Over Georgia's Viper, Sunday, September 16. The park invites all American Coaster Enthusiast members to say goodbye to Viper, "The Coaster That Strikes Twice!" with a free 2-hour VIPER-THON exclusive ride time, including night rides on the Great American Scream Machine. Participating ACE members will have the very last rides on Viper since the ride, which was originally Tidal Wave at Six Flags Great America, is being permanently removed after the ERT.

Why do I think that Viper will be replaced by a similar ride?

Maybe SF will send it back home to SFGAm where it belongs? I'm not going to hold my breath.
Oh Well.

I've heard that the Schwarzkopf shuttle loopers are really difficult to maintain due to all of the moving parts in the launch mechanism... if that's the case, then its no wonder why parks are quick to ditch them in favor of another type of coaster. Still, it seems that Schwarzkopf shuttles never die... they either go to smaller parks, or South America!
