I'll echo the sentiments about stopping by Waldameer in Erie, PA. It's right on the way if you're taking 90, and can easily be done in a couple hours or less. Ravine Flyer II is most definitely worth it.

Tues: Drive to Sandusky Hotel relax see a movie have a nice dinner.
Pro tip- Make sure to do that dinner long before 9 PM. Despite being a tourist town, just about everything in Sandusky is shut down by then. By 10 or 11 you'll be hard pressed to even find a fast food drive through still open.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Meh. For what it's worth, I didn't get that much out of RF2. Coast2coaster.com is what you really need here.
For instance, if you manage to not eat the rain day, or rearrange your days a little, coming across 90 will send you past Waladmeer, Darien Lake, and Seabreeze. Great Escape is quite a jaunt from 90 to the North (and it may be close enough to home base that you want to save it for another trip) but I do love me some Comet.

There's an Apple-bee's close by that's open until 11 PM. It's only 30 minutes away.

Agreed. Still don't get why it's so loved.
It must be one of those wood coaster personality things, in that it varies. I really loved that ride too. But regardless, I think Waldameer is a worthy stop if you're traveling I-90.

I'll find out myself next weekend :).
A couple years ago, my friend Beth and I were leaving Knoebels and heading to Dorney, then Hersheypark. We got to Dorney in the afternoon and she was ready to leave in just over an hour (we rode all the coasters + Demon Drop (yeah!) and some stuff twice). We left and drove to Hersheypark for their awesome "preview" night (thanks Carrie!).
Dorney isn't my cup of tea, my friend wasn't crazy about it either. But keep in mind the 2 parks were were sandwiched between! Unless you really love Dorney and/or need to ride something new there, just skip it. Extra time is always nice on these whirlwind trips. Extra time to nap, to eat, to slow down to avoid a speeding ticket.
Since you have a CF Platinum Pass, if you run into too much time to kill, you can get into CP or KI after you check in to your room.
Wait a second... are you missing a bunch of excellent old school parks all over Pennsylvania!?
I've never theme-parked in Pennsylvania, but for some reason I've always had an obsession with Kennywood. Old woodies with air time are my cup of tea.

Blashpemy.
I've always felt that Dorney is one of the most underrated parks out there.
You don't theme-park in Pennsylvania, you amusement-park. And ain't nothin wrong with that.
I think GalcianBTH has made it pretty clear they're stopping at Dorney, and I don't think it's a bad choice. There's worse places to be, and not everyone out there accepts a CF Platinum Pass.
I would definitely use my Saturday to get from Cincinnati to Erie, then go to Waldameer, especially if I'd never been there before. Maybe the park will be open for you on Saturday night, which would be ideal.(sorry, I'm not looking at their schedule) Waldameer is one of my favorite parks (I'm into updated nostalgia...), it's little, inexpensive, and you get Ravie Flyer II which I classify as unique. It would also help the long ass drive home, Erie to Boston is much better than Cincy to Boston.
Have fun.
Thanks for all the advise, I have ammended the trip just today to include Knoebels and Kennywood. Basicly decided to extend the trip home by stoping again at the timeshare for a saturday night. To split up the drive. Doing this buys me more time on the clean up day.
Thanks of the Applebees tip, we accually used a bunch of toys r us gift cards to buy all our resturaunt gift cards. And thats one of them, so thanks.
In other news I just calculated it out, the trip should net 61 coasters. And will infact bring my wife over the 100 coasters mark to 118. Not bad for having your first coaster ride in 2009.
Should bring me to around 150. Iv'e accually been to alot of the smaller parks in PA with my parrents back when I was first getting into it. (Ie tall enough that they would let me ride.)

Don't get me wrong, it's still a fun amusement park with rollie coasters and stuff (like a classic Whip and the great Demon Drop!), but with all the other options within a few hours, it's the park I'd least prefer to park myself at for too long. I'd take it over eating a bowl of Hormel Chili in from of my computer reading coaster nerd forums :)

Hey I'm eating chili right now! But it's not Hormel it's Chunky firehouse chili.
Update.
Weather permiting Im adding Waldameer on the way back to the time share.
So
Sun- Dorney
Mon- Hershey
Tues Knobles-Kennywood then otw to hotel from PA-Sandusky (works out welll almost straight shoot.)
Wed-Cedar Point Day 1
Thurs-Cedar Point Day 2
Fri-Kings Island
Sat Cleanup Day + Waldameer otw to timeshare.
Sun Go Home.
Im also going to do a full wright up and review of the parks and the trip afterwards.
I'm somewhat curious where this PA timeshare is? It seems odd to backtrack from Hershey to Knoebels then drive to Kennywood.
Im not really back tracking. Hershey has its own full day. Im staying at the timshare 2 nights Sun and Mon.
The timeshare is in the Poconos.
On Tues morning we leave the timeshare, go to Knoenobles then shoot over to kennywood. From, there we drive to the hotel in Sandusky.
I'm probly not doing the night before aspect as we have set aside a full day for Hershey and Dorney is being done at whatever time we get to Allentown. So while I plan on 3pm-4pm we all know that could turn in to 5-6pm. With Dorney only being about 40 min away from the timeshare thus very convientent.
Well now your itinerary makes a bit more sense, as you will be spending the night east of Hershey.
