This message is brought to you by the Geek Alert Networks...

Lake Rudolph has wireless internet access throughout the facility...

...END OF GEEK ALERT...

If this was a more serious situation, your screen would have went blank and asked for a credit card...

Nice alert, Lumpy72. I'll have to visit Lake Rudolph some time and spend a week there. If I'm super lucky, you'll see me at the Fall Affair this year, but it's an awfully long shot...

So who's attending and staying at Lake Rudolph?

I currently have a hotel room in the area for the event, but am considering dropping it and staying at the lake.

Should I do a Cabin or RV?

Help a brutha out. :)

The cabins are pretty cool all their own, but their location is really cool, tucked away from the rest of the campground, right behind The Legend. They are especially nice for after-partying if they are all occupied by the same group of people.

You mean 4 of the cabins are back behind The Legend. Most of the cabins (the newer ones) are further inside the campground. They are a bit narrow and feel sort of trailerish.
All the cabins are already rented for that weekend. I've had an RV rented since the event was announced.

Oh sorry. I was speaking of the Legendary Cabins.

I plan on staying somewhere in the campground, whether it's a friends RV, my own tent, or my car.

Crap. You're right. :(

Man, I'm so 'iffy' on doing the RV thing...

sigh.

As picky as you seem to be about hotels, I don't see you enjoying the RV thing, Gonch. ;)

^Crap. I need to reserve my room, or maybe I will break out the tent since it will be "cooler" weather.

Man these things are coming up VERY quickly!

What happens if we couldn't get there until after the registration time? Any sort of late registration pickup?

Whatever is left over will be left with guest services.

I'd like to ride with someone if anyone is leaving anywhere between Ft. Wayne and Indy or just happens to be coming by those areas. Please email, I'd be happy to have a good time and chip in on gas. I would hate to drive it alone. I could leave Friday or Saturday.

^Just what sort of good time would you be happy to have? lol ;)

I'd prefer to remain clothed the entire time. Other than that anything that is not currently unlawful.
Just be sure to be properly attired. :)

Jeff, I have three non-member friends hoping to attend. Am I reading the flyer correctly that I need to wait until after 8/31 to register 3 non-members? If this is due to a limited number of slots available, how will we know they are still available after 8/31?

Sorry for being difficult, and thanks for the help.

Paula, this one time, about 7 years ago or so, my brother was wearing his pants loose showing his boxers. So my Dad, being the comedian that he is, snuck up behind him and pulled them down all the way to his ankles... In front of his friends! He was pretty embarased, eventually, he grew out of that fashion! I thought I'd share!
