Dave's Trips

Never thought I'd see the day when anyone would be unhappy about seeing spanking new B&M track in their homepark, loops or no loops.

btw, I just created a floorless in RCT2 that would blow X away! ;)

Outkast(who only gets looped out when the loops in question......hurt).

Whoa, can we please keep the geriatrics off coasterbuzz, enough with the diatribes about age!! :)

Get over it, once your past 30, you life is through, we all know that but just live in denial. you guys sound like a bunch of grandfathers reminiscing about the good ole days. "I remember when i had to walk to the amusement park, 15 miles a day!!! Back then they didn't even have those dang-confounded steelie things you yougins call hyper coasters" :) :)

Anways, 30 is ripe, 40 is cool and 50 is middle aged at least from the perspective of a 17 year old who will be living until his 100 years old according to those whacked out futurists.

O, and a beemer would be smokin for SFMM, inversions are the specialty of the park, why not go all out? Congradulate, not playa hate, peace homies!

I wouldn't say we're 'unhappy', it's just that I guess we were hoping for something else than yet another multi-looper for the park. They've already got Viper and Riddler's Revenge. But I guess there's really not much else out there they could install. I'd much rather have the floorless than a Vekoma ANYTHING or another prototype that keeps breaking down. Perhaps we were just hoping that if it was a multi-looper, it would have been an Intamin with all the barrel rolls, something we dont' really have in the US yet, or even a B&M flyer or an Intamin woodie. After riding all these really cool rides on the ECO trip, and realizing we don't have anything like a lot of them in the US, another B&M floorless just seemed a little bit uninspired. But I'm sure it will be great, reliable, and high capacity! What is what the park really needs, too.

Someday, though, it would be nice to see SFMM get a *real* hyper! =)

AS IF that's a problem in the coaster community.

Sounds like a ride I had on Nitro Sunday night. Some will know what I am talking about. Right Dave and Tim?

Ok, I *think* I know what you're talking about....... =)

yea, SFMM really does have enough coasters with inversions, They are #1 with a total of 28 inversions (then it's SFGAwith 26, and the next parks inversions drop below 20!) http://www.rcdb.com/inversions.htm

SFMM used to be my home park so I was really hoping for that Intamin woodie for 2003. Maybe next year (2004). At the rate they're going it's really possible for another coaster next year

That makes you 10x better than me. See, I'm 28, which means I'm almost 30. Basically, the way I see it, the higher the second digit the worse it is, because you're THAT much closer to the next threshhold. i.e. 39 is worse than 52.

I remember in school, I was sitting in our dining hall and overheard two people (one grad student and one college student) having a conversation. The college kid said "So, how old are you?" and the grad student said "28." The college kid said "Wow, you're almost dead!"

d- Who is three years away from being "almost dead"...

CoastaPlaya,

I'm just saying how come everyone doesn't get treated the same regardless of age? We teenagers are the same as you, alive and knowing. Not all of us are dumb a$$ holes who don't know right from wrong. Maybe you should pay attention to the mature ones and not always basing opinions on a few of us.

You forgot about the fact that the 15 mile walk was all uphill!

My balls are none of your business, but I think you know what you can do with them.
