So what's SFMM getting that you don't like? (to turn this to the real discussion that Elissa mentioned) Screamscape mentions a possible B&M floorless or flyer, but I didn't think there was anything official yet.
Since Elissa had turned off her computer and went to bed, she asked me to post about this. Basically, from what we've heard, it sounds like they will get a B&M floorless, which is fine and all, and a lot better than another Deja Vu! =) I guess we're just kind of 'looped out' and was hoping for something more original or perhaps an Intamin woodies! =)

"Escuse me, can you tell me where the heck the Mystery Lodge is"?
Yeah, I saw Elissa posting on RRC (Im posting more now) and saying how much she doesnt want another forceless B&M.
Elissa.... At least your homepark is not Great Adventure.
Also, great time at GADV guys. I think my 14 yr old mind is severely troubled after hearing some conversations on the skyride..

I don't see how your response should be any different for any age of people. The golden rule sums it all up..... Do onto others as you would have them do onto you. You wanna be called a tasteless twenty? Don't call us a tasteless teen.
Sorry just had to say that.

I dunno about Playa, but I'm thrilled to still be called an "anything" twenty. It beats the h-e-double toothpicks out of "terrific" thirty. I still have a couple of years left.
Ahh, the age of innocence.
I'd love to make it Elissa, but it doesn't look like my first trip out there will be until February or so. Blimey! ;)

Actually, I wasn't playing RCT2, but our J.O. volleyball club had its organizational meeting. Tryouts next month... time to introduce more girls to my world of pain, er, I mean, hardcore volleyball. Nothing hits the floor, baby!
So anyway, yeah, we've got a meeting calendar which, even to my surprise, is pretty damn popular. 1251 entries for 2002, and that counts the off months. Heck, there are 136 for this month.
I'd start an enthusiast dating service if the community wasn't such a sausage party to begin with!

I do. If the thread had been initited by a male over 25, he'd be a pathetic, hairy-backed dirty old man whose knees and knuckles scrape the ground.
You wanna be called a tasteless twenty?
Uhhhh yeah....and so will you when you're just about 35. Call me a 20 year-old jackass too. I'll zone out right after the 'twenty' anyway.
Jeremy: Yours is a common mistake made by many a verbal pimpslap novice. While both the 'Zorro snap' and 'z-formation slap' both involve a reverse wrist flick, the latter involves a little more knuckle action to the side of the fo'head. That's where the money is. I bet there'd be less griping for these "membership dues" though.
And you're right, in my limited experience at coaster conventions, it's definitely a "swordfight" for the cute girls.

AS IF that's a problem in the coaster community.

Just think about it for a second....
LMAO Nat, good one. :)
About meeting up with you, Elissa, you know I'd love to, but I've been so depressed after breaking my fish-eye lens (that I don't even own!) I just can't leave the house! :)

That makes you 10x better than me. See, I'm 28, which means I'm almost 30. Basically, the way I see it, the higher the second digit the worse it is, because you're THAT much closer to the next threshhold. i.e. 39 is worse than 52.
Then again, following my logic has never been paint-by-numbers. The point here is, you have ridden Coaster, and I haven't.

Just kidding. I don't think any of us can be considered 'old' yet, we have too much fun.

Not that I'm complaining......:)

If the shoe fits, find another one.
Hey Elissa. Sorry that your thread got turned into a discussion of SFMM's new attraction. Thanks for all the great video stuff. Some of it belongs in the museum ACE is trying to get off the ground. I've been so busy with work that I haven't even had the chance to make the 20 minute drive to my home park since the spring. If I can sneak away tomorrow morning I'll look for you at the park.
Now, about that floorless.....that's waaaaaaay cool if that's what they're getting. There aren't that many floorless coasters in existence (relatively speaking) so I'm sure lot's of people have never ridden one. But Medusa at SFMW in Vallejo absolutely rocks. It is definitely one of my top five steel. If you stick your legs out in front of you and raise your hands you get this totally out of control feeling that is quite different than any other coaster. Combine that with the fact that B&M and SFMM may create the first hyper-floorless coaster and I say.....bring it on!

Sounds like a ride I had on Nitro Sunday night. Some will know what I am talking about. ;) Right Dave and Tim?
