I still can't rank rides on my record. The buttons are there, but they aren't clickable. Its awful, I know.

I can honestly say that after this weekend, ET has knocked the Voyage down a peg for me. El Toro just rocks. If I ranked rides, the bull would be my favorite.

Ah, much obliged.
Dream ride: Toro's first two hills, Voyage's turnaround, Toro's fourth hill immediately after the station turn, then Voyage's amazing "run back home". Two parts Toro, two parts Voyage, and one incredible ride! :)
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
Well all of these new El Toro fans need to do some track record work and make that top 100 a little more accurate. :)
Exactly!

Perfect summation right here. El Toro, while an absolutely fantastic ride, still gives me the feeling like it needs another 1000' of track in order to be comparable to the Voyage. The thing for me that the Voyage has over El Toro is the night rides. There are no better night rides anywhere than are offered on the Voyage. I think El Toro runs more consistently well than the Voyage but the Voyage has a much higher ride ceiling.
I just don't get the love for night rides on Voyage. I mean, don't get me wrong it's top 3 for me, but I could only ride it in the dark at HWN twice before feeling like I needed to stop. Even having ridden it in the light and knowing the layout pretty well, I felt like I was in a washing machine on spin cycle. On the other hand, I could ride El Toro all day and not have any issues.

Agreed there, although I think I had 5 spins on Voyage at HWN. It's one of the reasons I rank Ravine Flyer II higher, because I find it more reridable; I just wish it were longer (TWSS). I was really looking forward to the Timberliners this year and was hoping that would push it ahead on my list... but of course now El Toro sets the bar even higher.
Speaking of which, I'd like the lap bar on ET set a little higher. :) Poor AV Matt.
My two rides on El Toro were staple-free. Given the severity of the airtime, I wouldn't mind a tight lap bar. Not that I'm complaining, of course. ;)

I'd rather have less extreme airtime so that the bar doesn't have to be stapled. The freedom to slide around in the seat a little is an important part of the wooden coaster experience for me. El Toro could be 2000 feet longer and I still wouldn't enjoy it half as much as at least 20 other woodies. Enjoy your bull ride. I'll take Nitro.

I'm fat, El Toro is my #1 ride, and I'm always severely stapled. I still manage to get insane airtime nearly every circuit. Enough that I've lost my wallet out of my BUTT POCKET not once but TWICE (it's not ordinarily there, but I forgot about it.) The laws of physics dictate there's no way that could happen, but it did..did I mention TWICE?

I didn't think about that on the Bull, but I probably should have. It was in jeopardy on my Nitro ride, though. I had to grab my back pocket and hold on to my wallet for dear life from the helix on back.
I tend to forget when I'm wearing jeans, that I have no buttons on my back pockets. Here I was concerned about my phone. :)
I think that those with higher pain tolerance will rank El Toro in front of Voyage, where as those who prefer a smoother pseudo-woodie will choose ET.
Like was mentioned before, if ET had another 30-45 seconds of ride time then I'd be more inclined to rank it highly. But it doesn't. I would also be a larger fan of it if it rode like a true wooden coaster. As of right now, it doesn't breach my top 10.

Both rides I got on El Toro, I had breathing room in my lap bar. There was no stapling for me. I have a fine pain tolerance, and Voyage was my favorite woodie until I got on ET. I happen to prefer the way it rides for some reason. I don't need to really explain it, they're both pretty much the best.
I think the way it works is, whichever one of those 2 I rode last, will be my favorite.
I have a very high pain tolerance but the reason I like Toro more is the insanely violent ejector air it has that Voyage doesn't. I don't think Voyage is in any way rough, it just has different air than Toro.
Wow. Wildfire enters the list at #35 this week.
Lots of shuffling at the top as well.
I'm surprised at the amount of volatility this time of the season. Perhaps the sample size is too small. ;)
