I think it's unique!

Yes.

Once all the ground work is done im pretty sure the construction will move quickly from there.:| And SFoGswim, I don't think its ugly. How the hell do u compare the difference in wood? Really, 99% of woodies look beautiful. Comparing El Toro to something else would be like saying Mind Eraser at SFDL is better then ThunderHawk at GL just because of the colors. It isn't fair, and i disagree with you thinking its ugly.

About the only "ugly" woodie is the Williams Grove Cyclone. ;) That thing is just scary looking and to ride as well.

Scary, but still not ugly ;)

I'm trying to think of an ugly wood coaster and I can't really think of one. There are some that are prettier than others (as far as the structure is concerned) but I don't think any wood coaster would make me look the other way.

I guess what kills it is the straight section right after the lift. And then just a simple turn and a drop? Boring. Ugly. You want something that looks awesome? Son of Beast's start is fantasitc.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!
What is it supposed to do? Do a little dance before heading down the first drop? Seriously, I don't think any of us know what the hell you're talking about.

SoB's start is awesome? The little dip turn thing? Really?

Dania Beach Hurricane has the same thing and I think the beginning is the weakest part of an otherwise exceptional ride.

Hopefully the cable lift will have the train moving at a good speed around that turn and it won't just creep over the top of the drop like SoB does.

Looks fine to me.

It really towers over RT. :o

The flat turn is probably because of the cable lift hill. Sure the hill looks a little odd standing there, but that's solely because the rest of the ride isn't built yet. :)

Gadv PR department has already stated that the rollercoaster will not be ready for opening day. Also don't forget the area that ElToro is being built in is behing redone/rethemed so there is construction going on ALL OVER and not just on the rollercoaster. The construction of the supports does not dufferent too much from otehr standard woodies... the "plug-n-play" part is the the track & rails are already fabricated. So all that has to be done is simply place the track right onto the supports as opposed to a standard woodies which the wood is stacked up 8-10 or so pieces then the metal rail is palced on that.
Was it ever said what the new flat will be in the new area?

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!
yes, there is also a plot plan of the new area that has the spot for the new ride indicated.
And the new flat ride would be?

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!
Unannounced, as far as the Six Flags website is concerned...haven't seen or heard anything on there yet. You think they would have announced something about that ride by now. We all thought it was going to be SWAT, but we were wrong...

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

Maybe it's the Wagon Wheel from SFAW.

I don't know what SFGadv is getting but I know it isn't the Wagon Wheel.

Dave Dragon, go Dave Dragon, and the Star Force Five!

So why can't it be a Fly Swatter? S&S has made two and I'm sure they can make more.
