Drachenfire speculation: TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!??!

OK...someone stop me before I wig out, here. I was just looking into Busch Gardens' Howl-o-Scream (http://www.howl-o-scream.com) and I saw this in the Transylvania Express section:

Darkness approaches. The night creatures begin to stir. The dead come alive for bigger & braver goblins. The Transylvania Express Railway is waiting at Scaryboo Station, if you've got the nerve to hop aboard. The ride is definitely not for the faint-hearted. This terrifying tour travels through misty bogs and gruesome graveyards where zombies have risen from the dead, werewolves lurk in the shadows and ghosts bring sleeping roller coasters to life.

They say "BRING SLEEPING ROLLER COASTERS TO LIFE"...what are the odds that they're going to load Drachenfire up with mannequins and send them around?

Oh, and no, I don't live close enough to BGW to see if they've removed the nest, so this is entirely wild speculation, although I -will- be there for HoS.

You know how bad*** that would be if they open it up for halloween.

That would be so cool if they actually did open it up, even for just halloween.

Something like that could NOT be a slip up. That was definitely added on purpose. The only thing other thing it could mean by "bringing sleeping roller coasters to life" would be that you get to see it. Just like any other train ride. Still, that sounds VERY conspicuous.

Well if they mean it, then bringing sleeping roller coasters back to life, mean more then just seeing it. It mean riding it, cause if somthing is living it's breathing, moving, and ect. So if a coaster is living it has a train moving on it, with ppl on it.

CoasterSaurus, that's what I think too. I'm just worried that BGW might set up some little light show with smoke and such. "Oh, look! That coaster's alive!". But as I said above, there is no way that was placed on a webpage by accident. Everybody associated with BGW knows about Drachen Fire. There is definitely some important meaning to it.

Okay, it says "Sleeping Roller CoasterS" more than one. If they said "Coaster" then I would get all excited but right now I doubt if Drachen Fire will be open. I mean, don't they have to do test runs up the ying yang to make sure it is still operational. Also, it has been just sitting there. Has it gotten any matainence done? They can't just fire it up after it has sat for as long as it has

Jephry, BGW has said repeatedly that Drachen Fire was maintained regularly just like their other coasters. They've even said they could open it in roughly a month's notice. How long till Howl-O-Scream? A little over a month...

I personally just think it's a term coined to all the active coasters there acting as "haunted" coasters...

It has no meaning towards the Drachen Fire, and I would almost bet the farm that it will also not operate during the Halloween season.

like most of you, i would love for drachenfire to reopen...and yeah that advertisement does sound inticing, but im not gettin my hopes up. i guess we'll wait and see....i mean after all, as much money as the Busch parks have, im sure they wouldve removed drachenfire by now if they never planned on using it again.

This would be frigen awesome oh man what a way to bring back the beast. I mean dracenfire is the only coaster that the train goes near right?

DF would be fantastic, I'm certainly not going to say it COULDN'T happen, considering recent testing reports. Oh, and katsqueak, ALL caps kinda refers to the entire post, not the EMPHASIZED words. It's a little blinding when the whole post looks that way, but since we can't see facial expressions, hear intonations, etc., CAPS are cool for clarification and intensity - and THANKS for posting, could be a strong hint...

Boy everyone seems to be lovin' this idea. I CAN vouch for the fact that last year's train ride was scary enough without anything else in the park. To then ride under an operating DF would be something else, even without real peeps. Let the plastic skeletons rattle around in that 5th car!

I would love to see Drachen Fyre reopen but I dont necessarily think this is a sign it"s going to happen.The message says sleeping coasters which probably means all of them that they acknowledge having, Big Bad Wolf, Loch Ness ect. Just that they are coming to life for the halloween event.Hey who knows for sure though I'm planning on visiting the park around then for my birthday and Drachen Fyre would make a great present

I just wish the park would do SOMETHING with the ride...I just want the closure.....
