dose anyone know whats up with sfgav for 2002???

It's another pay ride with uses montion simulators.....I think. Someone correct me if im wrong cause I never went on it.

Sorry about this, but I'm feeling a bit ignored, but didn't I mention Alcatraz earlier in the thread? As I said before, considering the amount of rides the past few years (non-upcharge), I really wasn't even expecting to get Nitro becaue of all of the money spent on those flats. Evolution was pretty expensive by itslef, if I'm not mistaken and the Huss Jump couldn't have been too cheap either.

Adding new rides at sfgadv is deffinetly not an issue. No matter how many times I'm quoted on this, I'll say it again - most people dont understand just how money sfgadv makes in a day, or a week, or even a YEAR. Apply it's money to employees, ride maintence, power, resources, etc..., and you still result in a large financial surplus. That, combined with the fact that sfgadv only occupies 30% of its owned land, and sfgadv has unlimited possibilities.

Personally I dont think we'll see a new coaster for '02. If we do get anything on the "extreem" side, it would most likely be a gyro drop tower in place of the defunct paachute tower (and even that's wishful thinking). It may be a quiet season at sfgadv this summer, but it will finally give us a chance to enjoy the park and take in whatever atmosphere it emits.

How much more floorless can they get?

Gadv is getting a s&s "insane" upcharge, maybe a dolphin show and thats it. Alcatraz:tr is terrible its a big video game, I was there at fright fest and saw it in action. The best shot of a coaster is Viper coming out of sbno. I heard from Chillforce that it will be back but with no changes, such as new otsr's.  So I suggest not to get your hopes up.

Alcatrax is a simulator.  It was announced in mid summer
