dose anyone know whats up with sfgav for 2002???

I agree with everything Intamin Fan has said.
Intamin fan, you do criticize people too much.
Coaster8888777, first of all, try responding without using profanity. Second of all, you weren't included in my criticisms, so why are you getting involved? Third, I'm not going away anytime soon. Fourth, you didn't have to quote my whole statement. It already existed above. Fifth, read the Terms of Service. It specifically addresses spelling.
OK OK OK! Here it is,(1)... After Febuary 1 we will find out what is going on for SURE! You may remember but in September I got an Officail letter stating after Febuary 1st they will announce their attration(s). (2) I spoke to one of the Security Guards and they said they are building a bigger SlingShot ride near Dino Island. She said she didn't know how tall it is but around 300ft. (3) I called the park AGAIN and they said they were getting a Dolphin Show. The info is at gadv.com so you can check it out. (4) The Parachute ride is done for. Lighning struck in in 2001 and it is now too expensive to fix. I don't think Great Adventure is planning on leaving it there so you MAY see something new there. As of a Gyro Drop, there isn't any evidence to confirm that. (5) Diffenent additions are,
New Wood on Rollin Thunder, Batman: The Chiller has Lapbars, Dolpin Show, and Spaceship's return, and longer Chiller Lines.
If you would like to help find out info, annoy the people at Great Adventure everyday until the tell you or spill the beans. Then post it!
I'm scedualing a call for about 9am tommorow. Hopefully I will get some info.

If you would like to help in making Chiller have shorter lines, please inform everyone around you in line that there IS a seatbelt, over and over again =)

They are going to be getting a Total Insanity.....thats if they still feel safe about it, but I think that the incident at Cedar Point is just cordinated to that one pole at six flags. They might also be getting a Lo-Q.
That's at also on Gadv.com. About Great Sdventure getting Low-Q

Didn't they rank as the highest SF park attendence wise? Proves you don't need to have 15 coasters or be open year round to get a crowd.

CP! Still the coaster capital of the world in 2002!

1) Unfair comment. I believe Nitro had all of 2001 to have people come pouring in for it. Déjà Vu did not open until VERY late August, which in terms for Southern California's tourism season, is over. While X on the other hand, did not even open in 2001, but January 2002. So I do believe if X and DV had actually opened as scheduled, Great Adventure would have been kicked down a notch for attendance in the Six Flags chain.

2) In response to your signature - As of now January 25, 2002, Six Flags Magic Mountain has the crown for most roller coasters than any park in the world. And even with the debut of Wicked Twister, Cedar Point still isn't going to take the record back, or all of it at least. Both parks will be TIED, or in simpler terms, SHARE the crown, half and half.

PLease lets not start with the coaster record. Its a played out topic.
Krax: Actually it's not unfair because SFGAdv drew more people in 2000 with no major addition than SFMM did with the early 2000 addition of Goliath.

and "rollercoaster capital" means nothing. In my opinion Busch Gardens Tampa is the 'real' RCcapital!

Nitro230ft., are you trying to make us all look bad by bugging the park everyday? We want the parks (and I mean all parks) cooperation in things like ERT etc. Harassing the park is a very bad idea.
While I'd love to see any addition especially those in my sig. I don't mind at all if we get nothing new this year. I'm thankful for the Huge quantity of attractions we've gotten in the last few years. I'm not very happy about more up-charge attractions. I simply won't pay to ride something inside a park when I've already paid to gain entrance. I guess I can be happy that perhaps the income generates funds for other expansion and attractions. Whatever we do or don't get this year, I'll see you there opening day.

SFGadv Please I'm begging for a Gyro Drop tower, an ArrowBatic and some much needed TLC for Rolling Thunder.
Intamin Fan, it was a joke. Calm down, damn.

Nitro230ft., did you happen to notice that you didn't say that it was a joke? Since we're not actually talking to each other, I have to assume you were serious. Use an emotive (smiley face etc.) if you meant it as a joke.
I thought they were gonna get a 4d.
Intamin Fan please.....,

Anyway, I called again today about SeasonPass prices and the guy didn't know. He did mention "a new ride in the park" and the Dolphin Show. I say give them a few more days.

$80.55 for an individual 2002 pass.  $296.76 for a family pass of 4.  And parking passes are $30, $10 for a second parking pass.

1. If a seasonal park did better than a year round park than that does mean something, correct? Also, how many people did show up to MM this year with the intention of riding Deja and X?
2. If we are going for quality, that my vote would go to a small park that builds wooden for quality. IMO both can advertise the most coasters record, MM has the Cali record and CP has the Ohio record. See, we are all happy in the end :)
