Dominator has gone vertical!

Well one thing you've gotta give credit for with regards to Dominator is that it breaks the cookie cutter mold in terms of elements when compared to most of the other floorless coasters out there....I do agree that the only things missing from the layout are the zero-g roll,not to mention the dive loop.

If it weren't for space limitations SFI probably would've had B&M design these two signature elements into the layout but alas chose not to,which I don't get because instead of the OBT following the loop they could've had a dive loop going into a zero-g roll leading into the station flyby approach to the cobra roll just as easily without sacrificing too much midway space.

And then it would have been JUST like every other floorless out there... I liked how Dominator was a little different.

^ I agree with you 100%. Some people like those cookie cuter molds for some reason. For example, there are those select few that like Batman Inverts (at least they claim they do), better than other inverts.
Like you, I enjoy riding a coaster with elements that make it different from other forms of that coaster.
After riding both of them, I would choose an invert like, Great Bear over Batman.

Call me insane but I'm pretty sure the people that claim to like the Batman inverts better than others actually do like them better than others.

P.S. I don't believe that any B&M built since/other than the Batmen(s) have the positive g's you'll find in those tight helices near the end of the ride. They're amazing. On the whole, however, I prefer the more "swooping" inverts...inversions are overrated.

I think people that make this claim are either SF fans or Batman fansl, not really coaster fans. I rode a few Batman Inverts and just do not get near the thrill I get from inverts like Raptor, Alpengeist, or Montu. Not even close.

I am on the Gator side of the floorless thing. My pref.

(BKF)Dominator, S:KC, Kraken, Medusa West, Medusa East/Scream, Hydra, B:DK(B:TR).

I don't know why people rail on Hydra so much. I thought it was quite a fun ride (though still not as fun as other floorless options).

I also don't find much appealing in the B:TR's, but I wouldn't call someone who did, a liar...

^I only CLAIM my opinion is my opinion, just to stir the kettle. Honestly, my beliefs are typically the opposite of my claims. ;)

Its my opinion bud. I don't appreciate the name calling. I have never called out someone personally and called them a jerk, even though there are many that deserve that title.

I think that collective 'many' is starting to tire of somebody 'round here.
