Does a song remind you of a park?

I think of the Viper every time I hear the awful Nelly song "Hot in Here" beacuse it was blaring from one of those fake rocks one day at SFGAm. Maybe they should accompany a good ride by a good song! :)

I love Deja Valley. And Stunt Stall too!

Well, I, like John, think Jimmy Eat World when I think going to a park (namely because that's OUR CD and we play it every time we go). Personal favorites are "The Authority Song" (which I sing a rockin' harmony on), "Sweetness" (I mean, come on...it's just a great song), and "Cautioners" (or at least the first 45 seconds because we both agree it sounds like Knight Rider!). Never a dull moment in the old VW, let me tell you...

I love Green Day, and I remember one day while driving to Cedar Point, right when I got my first glimse of MF (not first ever, but just first glimse of the day) I was listening to Espionage by Green Day. For some reason I think of the park whenever I hear that song.

Cedar Point 2003, and it begins...

Ecuador by Sash reminds me of SFMM expecially the ride it plays on:)

Kryptonite reminds me of MF also.

If practice makes perfect but noone is perfect, then why practice.

I know im gonna get TOTALLY bashed for this one. But did anyone ever hear that 80's song "High Enough" by the Damn Yankees. I always think of Dorney(particularly Hercules) when I hear that song. It was the late eighties early nineties and Hercules had just debuted and he was the biggest baddest thing in the area. It was my first coaster and that song high enough was popular. Hercules being the tallest woodie(at the time) and high enough being a hit song, Iv always connected the two. Lame I know yes, but true. Another song that I always connect with Dorney is Mariah Careys "Always Be My Baby." This always sparks my memory of dorney cause it came out of one of those lovely singing rock things while I was havin a smoke sittin amidst the landscape waitin for my friends to get off Dominator.

Songs for any roller coaster or park

White Stripes: Fell in Love with a Girl (heard this one in line for Iron Wolf. Now it's my Iron Wolf theme).

Jimmy Eat World: Get It Faster (this gets kickin' halfway through).

Linkin Park: 1STP KLOSR (My Demon theme. This is such a sweet song, anyway!)

Like Millrace, "Palisades Park" Makes me think of amusement parks anytime I hear it and wooden coasters in particular. What a great song!

We’ve been wondering since 2002.

The park is gone. But the fanboys definitely follow the guidance of Glass Tiger and don't forget.

"Man Eater" and "Turn Around" come to mind for Mystic Timbers.

Oh yeah. I think they played that in the queue for Top Gun at PGA. At least, I seem to have that association. Maybe it was just in my head.

I have a Journey ride connection with Who's Cryin Now. Was sort of bullied into riding the Wildcat at Riverside, now SFNE when I was about 6 or 7 by my sister's friend. I was scared to go on it. We waited in line for a bit. Remember a car got stuck at the top of the first drop in what I assume is a block break. Staff actually climed up the track and pushed it. I was extra freaked out because of this. Noticed we got the same car that got stuck. I loved it and think that's what started my coaster love. Song was playing while we were waiting and definitely brings me back to that moment when I hear it.
