Do You Bother To Ride Flat Rides?

Kennywood's flat rides are awesome. The Aero 360, Swing Around, Enterprise, and Pirate Ship are m favs.

Always have loved flat rides. By the way, what is that Nightwing ride at SFNE? It was closed both days I was there. In my older age though, I tend to limit my flat rides and spinners to only a few interesting ones I see.

I can't believe that nobody has mentioned the ZIPPER! That ride still scares the crap out of me, and just last year initiated my son into the terrifying world of carnivals...:) Outside of that, I don't really like flat rides too much. Too much spinning, and not enough change of scenery. Most of them make me sick.

;)Rollercoasters are like parrots...if you take care of them, they should outlive you;)
The "Twister" manufactured by Chance was the best flat ride--it made the "Tilt" look like a merry-go-Round!! I rode that sucker for 20 years and I loved the spinning-very intense if the operator was talented. Indiana Beach featured this ride for Many years. The Paratrooper is also a "timeless classic".
Yes, they are a nice break from coasters.  A park full of flat rides merits a multi-day visit (ie.  Hershey, Cedar Point, Great America).  A park that lacks them and other attractions (Paramount, coupled with mediocre coasters) gets boring fast.
