DCA zinged on Simpsons!

I saw that too:) I wonder why they would like a prison more than DCA.
What's even sadder is those that clammor about how great "The Simpsons" is probably never saw the true gem on Fox called "Family Guy". True comedic genius. Go to Kazaa and download an episode or two and see what I mean.

Thats just too funny! The Simpsons hit it right on the nose!

yeah, we have every Family Guy on CD now...downloaded them and burned them to disc...

maybe its a guy thing because i didn't find it as enjoyable as the Simpsons...

Thanks for SAVING THE WHIZZER!! it couldn't happen to a better ride...

Don't forget to download the episode Fox refused to air "When you wish upon a Weinstein" It's gold!

Fox has messed with Family Guy and Futurama so much it's not even funny. (They also totally screwed over Greg the Bunny - another great show!) Family guy was even canceled twice and then put back on the air months later. Futurama was canceled over a year ago, but Fox stretched out the unaired episodes for another season.

Sorry to talk so much about non-coaster related stuff! :)

Yea, Fox is pretty screwy with the TV shows and cancelling them and stuff. I never really became a 'fan' of Futurama but I did watch it every so often. But Family Guy was a show I couldn't miss and I was very mad when they cancelled it.

-----------------

Futurama sucked!

Okay, maybe it didnt suck, but it was one of those shows that I just dont *get* (along with X-Files, Seinfeld,....)

Family Guy, OTOH, was just way too real to ever make in on TV. They were just so *on point* on just about everything. I really loved that show.

Fox makes all kinds of bad decisions. They killed Girls' Club way too early. Three hot chicks, courtroom and bedroom drama (mmmmm... Chyler Leigh). What was not to like about that?

The only show on FOX that I actually go out of my way to watch right now is "Boston Public".

That program just spews controversy.

Yes, Family Guy was the only show with the potential to be as funny or possibly even funnier than The Simpsons.

How about Family Guy on DVD? The first season is supposedly coming out in April. Screw the crappy little downloads, I'll take the DVD.

I personally enjoy DCA, but maybe this could tell Disney that they need to add more. Like close off the whole Timone parking lot and expand DCA into there. =)

Simpsons wasn't slamming DCA as a park. Since the opening the press has been quick to jump on it for having a lack of activities for children. Tower of Terror isn't going to help that reputation at all.

And yes ALEEN6E6, I'm sure after watching the show last night everyone at Disney is scrambling right now to get new attractions built there post-haste. "What!? We had no idea!"

It's called ratings, guys. There are more than just 13-32 year old males watching TV these days.

Law and Order with young hot chicks...I saw this series go down in flames before the first episode. I'm all for hot chicks, but when it comes to TV, I prefer either quality comedy or realistic drama. I'm weird like that.

Regarding The Simpsons last night, I completely missed that line! I think I was en route to the living room from the kitchen with a slice of pizza when that scene came on. My roommate probably caught it, but I doubt he even knows what DCA is.

It's a sad world when shows like Futurama get ignored while crap like Eight Simple Rules and Hidden Hills keeps airing.

That said, I'm so glad Girl's Club got axed. Those women were hot, but judging by the way they acted in the commercials for the show, I wouldn't want to spend 5 seconds with any of them... let alone an hour a week.... :)

I really like Eight Simple Rules it is one of the better sitcoms out there. I PERSONALLY thought Futurama and King of the Hill and Greg the Bunny were the most ignorant shows in the world.

Girls' Club was the perfect replacement for Ally McBeal, sans Anorexa Flockhart. It was along those lines, only the women were barely a year out of law school. Jumped right into the issues of office sexual harassment, age-ism, corporate greed... had a lot of promise.

And did I mention the women? Don't know how any straight man couldn't be all about that.

Gosh, I don't see how DCA (I've never been) could possibly be worse than any episode of the Simpsons from the last few years ...

Speaking of slamming Disney, back when the show was palatable not only did they rip on the company as a whole, they actually had the cojones to lump Uncle Walt in with Hitler - more than once. Quite funny, especially for the few of us who have read "How to Read Donald Duck", the deconstruction of the politics of Walt & Co. and their early efforts at propaganda. I'm guessing not many here are familiar with that particular publication ...

Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.

Contrary to popular belief, some straight guys do actually prefer quality entertainment to ogling at women. If I want to ogle, I'll buy a magazine and I won't have to listen to crappy David E. Kelley dialogue while I'm ogling.
