Compatible Browser?

No, when i say it just refreshes it does, nothing disapears, it looks the same as when i last clicked there, but i'll try re-installing firefox, and all the other options and let you know what goes on!

So did you make sure you're accepting cookies or not? The built in help in FF will tell how to check/change this.

BTW, what didn't you like about Netscape? You realize Netscape and Firefox are both based on Mozilla?

Aren't Mozilla and Firefox based on Netscape, not the other way around? Mozilla came about when Netscape released the source code. Firefox is the lite version of Mozilla.

No, the current non-beta Netscape (7.2) *is* Mozilla 1.7 with Netscape's extra 'stuff' added (AOL IM, A/V players). Netscape has been based on Mozilla since 6.0.
Netscape 8.0 beta is based on Firefox 1.0, which is based on Mozilla code. :)

I've used Netscape since 1.0 in the mid 90's, but since Netscape is based on Mozilla anyway, I started just using Mozilla since they're newer builds. One day I might go to Firefox, but right now I like Mozilla better. For one thing Mozilla is a suite, that comes with the email client. With Mozilla Firefox, you have to download the email client separately (Thunderbird). BTW, Mozilla Firefox was first called Pheonix, then Firebird.

I just made the switch to FireFox yesterday and love it. It's much faster. I love all the features of it. The tabs come in handy. Now I can surf all my favorite coaster sites under one browser.

There are also extension plug in sites for exaple, a plugin for the yahoo lauch site so you can listen to videos and radio. If you need them, they are there. :) I love FireFox too!
