Compatible Browser?

Ok, I was fed-up with Internet Explorer, and I dont' really like Netscape, so I downloaded Mozilla Firefox, It won't let me sign in. Is the site compatible with this broswer? Does Anyone have this problem? I need help!
Firefox is very compatible. Is it rejecting your password, throwing up pictures of pink ferrets, crashing?
I think its rejecting the password, i type in username and password and hit enter and nothing happens it just reloads the page.

Hmm. Everything works for me, I am using Firefox 1.0.3. Have you restarted your computer?

You should try that then. I've found software works best if I install it, then do a complete shutdown. It sounds dumb, but I've had drivers and such not work right on a warm re-boot.
Rule Number of Tech Support: "Restart Computer" ;)

Don't hit enter, click the login button. I use Firefox and it works fine.

I tried accepting cookies, but I have just recently downloaded the latest version of Firefox and don't know exactly what I'm doing, when I go to log-in I type in my username, then type in my password and click on login like Jeff said and still nothing happens, BTW I am using Internet Explorer now, I am trying to only use Firefox. *** Edited 5/4/2005 12:27:29 AM UTC by DC2Beltz3***

"Nothing happens" is kinda vague...

But I'll try to get on with FireFox when I get home in a few hours. That browser sure seemed to have a TON of settings when I first looked at it though...not what I'd call an *intuitive* feel to it. Most new software has bugs (ok, all new software, LOL), and even if it doesn't, still can take awhile getting used to the controls.

Do make sure your num-lock and caps-lock keys are set appropriately...;)

The fact that I've been using it for a year indicates the problem is not the site, or even the browser. You have other problems.

I've restarted, at least 3 times, that's not the problem. Its not me that has the problems, I've worked in the controls trying everything. (basically what I mean by nothing happens is that I put in all my info, click login and it seems as though it only reloads the page)
Another firefox user here. No problems (except for the "object moved to 'here'" messages all of the Netscape-based browsers seem to get) in over a year.

It's still not the site (except for the "object moved to 'here'" thing).

It's you, bud. The fact that many other users have zero problems should be a flag.

Have you reinstalled Firefox?

I use Firefox on this site all the time as well, no problem. I suggest trying Neuski's fix, reinstalling. Also, you might want to try disabling your firewall and anti-virus software (BRIEFLY) and if your not a member of Coasterbuzz, the pop-up ad blocking software your running. One of those programs could be blocking a script or something from working properly.

Check www.coasterbuzz.com and coasterbuzz.com to see if you might've been logged on on the other domain. I know that makes a difference for me.

You sure its not logging you in? My page "just refreshes" when I log in, its just the email/password box goes away.
