Anastasia,

From my experience PKI's Fearfest is included on Sundays.

-Tina

Airfare is bought and paid for, car rental lined up, hotel reservation made for Friday night near L'ville (going to SFKK FrightFest). Now I just need to make lodging plans for Sat night.

What's the general consensus...are most of you planning to stay at Camp Rudolph on Saturday night?

Do HW Season Pass holders get a break (or is that a brake.....)?

Update on the moon thing...

if I'm reading this site right

There will be NO moon that night, as it will be setting at 5:54 that evening.

No trim brakes!

But yes, season pass holders will not have to pay for the admission portion of the event cost.

I knew there was a great reason to get a season pass (besides the no smoking, great people, fun atmosphere, people who shake their heads at people who attend news conferences via cell phone.....).

Thanks! We've already made our reservations. I can't wait to get the kids out of bed at 4 a.m. to drive up!

If you're really into Halloween ... you might consider Lake Rudolph for your overnight accommodations (they also have rental RVs and cabins), as the event will be during their first weekend of HalloWeekends.

I called over there and they still have plenty of room.

I already got two guest to commit (one is a HW virgin) and a third who is almost on board (also a HWV). I am working on more too so I hope we get a few guest spots.

The dark thing is really exciting me and freaking me out, but if I could make one suggestion: It would be nice if lights and glow stuff were banned on the rides. I seem to always sit by enthusiasts who think it's cute to bring lights in dark tunnels on coasters like Beast and Hades. It was probably the same dumb couple on both rides too. Hey you two if you are reading this, it is not cute. You are not getting good attention for yourselves doing this, and people drive a long way for a nice dark ride so turn your silly lights off.

Please excuse my rant. Thank you. :)

No, we won't allow carry-on items on the coasters.

And I'll try to dim my halo, just for the night. :)

Insectoid-Americans....you mean like Zorak, or The Tick?

The Tick........ best... cartoon... evah.

Spoon!!

Anyway, count me in for some crazy Raven ERT. I haven't had a nice Raven night ride for several years, so this sounds great! Hats off to Paula, Will and Jeff.

Beast? You were going to say Son of Beast? How dare you insult Holiday World like that! Shame on you, Sean! I've never even been to HW yet, but, dang, even I know its gonna be better than SoB!

Ah, I knew there was something I forgot to do.....Motel 6 baby! Suprisingly they still have rooms left.

-Tina

Is anyone else staying at Santas Lodge?

I've been waffling (not pancakes) about going considering the cost and our financial situation, but Ian askedabout the event last night since one of his on-line buddies is a CBuzz member and wants him to attend...meaning "mom can I have the car?" Whoever you are, you've made the decision for me.

There is no way I can sit home while he goes off to the premier event of the season, so I'm going to check into getting a rental RV at Lake Rudolph considering Ian will likely want to hang in the campground with his buds.

Yay! Glad to hear you are coming too, Linda!

Those RVs are the DEAL.....awesome location, priced reasonably, and you can fit in a few friends...

And there's a shuttle to carry your butt back and forth after a hard day's coaster riding...

Wish *I* could go....but Paula says I'm not allowed at HW until "The Pilgrimage"... ;)

Oh get off of it Bill, get your butt up here in October for crying out loud! ;-)

-Tina

Everyone wants to come. I have 4 confirmed guests now and a few more seriously thinking about it. One more is almost a lock. The RavenTTD party will have people from MN, MO, and VA (most are HWV's). I keep telling them that it is possible for a woodie to be just a good as a steel coaster and now we are going to prove it.

Thanks for the no lights help, Raven Maven. You can glow your halo all you want. :)

I'm going to have a long discussion with the bro about this one.........it should take just over 4 seconds to reach an agreement.
