I'm off work! Yes! Now get the wife on my side, and were there. If not, she's single parent for the weekend! J/K...I think. *** Edited 8/9/2005 1:41:42 AM UTC by Floorless Fan***

Wow, this sounds sweet. Count me in and it'll be my first HW experience.

You may be interested to note that the night before, Sept 30, seems to be the first night of SFKK's Fright Fest, as its operating hours will be 5pm-midnight.

Hmmm...good call! Didn't even think of checking that....hmmm...perhaps I'll take a half day off and flight out earlier...

Hey Tim,

Stop by the Willi household in Elyria, we'll give you a ride. I'm still scratching my head as to why the wife would attend this event at Holiday World if she can't ride the coasters. I guess she loved HW that much, and she really wants to do the construction tour of the Voyage, seeing as how that'll be our first camping trip next year for our one year anniversary ;)

I'm still in disbelief that HW is doing this event. Thank you very much to Pat, Will, and company, we won't let you down.

You'll be pleased to know Jeff has a very healthy meal planned for attendees. :)

That actually makes me even more inclined to want to go. The typical coaster banquet grub gets a little old, and I don't typically eat like that on any normal day anyway.

I like that pict of you guys on your profile, Kara.

Carrie and I are going to have lots of pictures taken in the next couple months... but she's going to be wearing... White!

Congrats, John!

George,
you bringing the whole redfam?

Oh, and Paula...
if Frank and I bring our wetsuits again could you score us some ERT on Zinga saturday morning??!

Not this time... it's a long drive for redgirl for just one day. Redwife is allowing me to go by myself...I just have to get certain tasks completed around Casa Rojo....

The redfam will be going down there next year for a couple days (around Labor day) it'll link up with a trip to the inlaws in NW Tenn.

Has the limit been set yet on the number of guests we can bring to this event? I am talking to several people who may want to come.
80,000 things.... big things or little things? I mean 80,000 bolts wouldn't look impressive... 80,000 beams and boards .... WHOA now we're talking ;)

Watch the tram car please....

I thought the boards had been delivered...remember Paula's picture of *lumber in the distance*?

My guess is steel beams...or maybe it's the 80K enthusiasts that'll be bearing down on the gates come opening day next year... :)

Does anyone need a guest as I want to go.

Have Fun

Paula, are you sure you are ready for the onslaught of Buzzers that will be attending? ;-)

October is the best time to coast.......

-Tina

Any time at HW is the best time to coast in my opinion, Tina. :)

But October on a moonless night on the Raven...
That's the BESTEST.

I've never been to HW, so this is a perfect opportunity. I'm thinking of also going to PKI on Sun the 2nd. Does anyone know if PKI's Fear Fest occurs on Sundays (its website doesn't say)? Thanks.
