Forty cents a day? Wow. Times seven people, that's $2.80 a day. In order to save about a million dollars (which is a low price for even a used coaster, I would guess), you'd all have to save 40 cents a day for 958 years.

Good luck.

Hey, I'm convinced!

Oh come on! You don't take this seriously do you?? If you did, you'd use spell check and learn how to design a decent site. If you ARE serious, consider buying a nice suit and checking out the following site:

http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com/

This is a site devoted to usability.

Oh, also, watch "Catch me if you can" to see how a real pro would do it.

I admire you for dreaming the dream. Don't ever let anyone take that from you. Especially any of THESE bums! ;)

Shut up. All of you just shut up. You'll see. Wait 'till they start loading 120-foot tall steel supports in the back of Uncle Wilt's Ford Ranger. We'll see who's sorry then...

Reading this posts (especially CoasterPreservations remarks) makes a few things come to mind.

1) Months ago I made a post where I used the name "Six Flags over the Mental Ward". I think it may be time to re-institute that park idea.

2) Coasters that the CPO(formly [sic]CPC) should keep their eyes on in case they ever go SBNO... the collective Mind Erasers at various Six Flags parks... the Psycho Mouse at Paramount's Great America... and of course Universal Studio's Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster. I think these would fit the theming of any project CPO(formly [sic] CPC) would decide to undertake.

Kind of hard to take a post as objective if a park or coaster name is part of the "user name"

Hey, watch the sarcasm buddy or you won't be able to ride.

Hey CoasterPreservation, don't let these guys get you down. They just don't have the guts to dream big. Hey, "they all laughed at Christopher Columbus...." and you know how THAT song ends. ;)

Yea, but there's a difference between an explorer (everyone tells them they're nuts) and a bunch of 14 year olds that think its easy to aquire 200 acres of land, make laws, run a park, and build/maintain coasters that have already hit the end of their shelf life.

I've been giggling at this thread all day long - please, keep it up! =)

Far-fetched, yet not impossible. Imagine this scenario: One of the kids' uncle "Bill" dies in a plane crash and inherits $60 billion and the Windows empire. Next thing you know, you're paying $3000 and reading a poorly written park guide.

As Dr. Evil would say ... riiiiiiiiiight. Just that pesky approval by state regulators, lack of a legal precedence for their laws (and a Congress who'd take the time and effort to approve such a law) and the fact that they're 14 and can't legally own things of that magnitude. But hey other than that, sure its feasible! (And yes, you could buy off the Congress, but by the time you did that and the state regulators and the land, you'd have no money for the rides)

I'm not sure which is funnier, that someone thought up this Andy Kaufman style comedy piece and the whole thing is an elaborate joke, or if people are being earnest here.

Earnest? I don't think there is one sarcstic post in this entire thread. This is serious business here. Frankly, I find it insulting that anyone would find humor in any of this.
