Coaster Paint

All right, if CP's Mantis didn't receive that new paint job this year, I'd say it was the worst faded colors on a coaster I've ever seen.

What coaster do you think needs some serious cosmetic attention?

I would say that Windstorm at Old Towne in Orlando needs to paint the cars to the new theme color of the coaster. Also at Six Flags Astroworld Batman the Escape is really bad

Staying in the CP realm, you could easily add Iron Dragon and Magnum.

Have to agree with you on the magnum, and the last time I saw Vortex (PKI) it could have used one.

Dorney Park Visits in 2003: 4

PKI just repainted the Vortex for last season. Before that, it had looked pretty faded. However, Drop Zone`s paint is starting to fade. Also, Face Off paint is fading and there are some areas of major rust showing. They could use a paint job in the coming couple of year before they become as faded as the Vortex was when it recieved it`s paint job.

Steel Force at Dorney Park really needs a paint job. The colors have horribly faded, just like Magnum. It was so nice when it was new, the bright red paint, ahhh...

Libertyland's Revolution is in the worst shape. Last time I was there, the white paint was chipping off and there was grafitti on the supports.

Deja Vu at SFGAm. There are huge spots that are faded all over the ride.

Thats not fade on Delayja Valley, thats touch up paint. They did it that way to make it look camouflage so nobody would see it just sitting there...hehehe.

And I'd say that Magnum @ CP definatly needs a paint job. After seeing how good mantis looks, I think its time for Maggie to get that fresh coat of paint she deserves.

I think they should let Maggie go. The rust will blend in with the faded paint! :)

For some reason the intamin paint always fades...

I think Millennium Force's track is starting to show some fading, and rust is starting to appear on the track immediately before the station. I place this coaster under very high scrutiny, but I doubt very many other people would notice (besides those that post on Coasterbuzz of course).

Demon at SFGAm. You have been able to see the old Red paint under the black for many years now.
