Classism and park demographics: whither the credit whore?

Nah...my company would run a lot like "Its a Small World!" Everything would be all smiles and freshly painted. No angry faces would be allowed...even by me!

...besides...I'm sure whatever made me mad was perfectly valid at the time! I've grown up a bit and realized that if I boycott EVERY perceived slight...I'll no place left to go/shop/talk coasters, etc! :-)

...in fact SFMM is the only place I've sworn off in the present! *** Edited 1/25/2006 2:25:23 AM UTC by Jeffrey R Smith***

Well, I've been to places where the employees are all smiles because of fear and it's really creepy. Kind of like the family in the Twilight Zone movie where the kid wishes the one's that slighted him to the TV (cornfield in the original).

I've also been to places where the employees are all smiles because they really do enjoy working there. I prefer the latter.

Call me a snob, but there is a difference. I'd rather get good customer service from folks who are actually happy to give it.

Hmmm...there might be something to smiles and fresh paint. Perhaps service employees could take a regular rotation as a painter or carpenter. Then there's that element of pride in serving customers who are not only enjoying good service, but your work too.

And employee stock helps too. ;)
