Chiller is opening soon!

so i see it may be open this weekend.. if it was open yesterday(wednesday), i think it might be open thursday, and friday and the rest of the weekend probably, too. They want people to ride it, not just look at it testing. There was a short technical difficultie.. not a huge one.. Well just wait and see what happenss

So, is Chiller running or not?

chiller is open for the whole year, i got 1 ride in the back and it will be open tommorrow

I went on Friday and chiller was running flaw free all day great ride.

finally! hopefully it will be running well by JULY

i just rode it yesterday about maybe 4 times and it was amazing! if you want to read my trip report, go to gadv.com and go onto the forms "trip reports" .. its pretty long.. but who cares! go ride batman the chiller today! dont just stand there!

We finally got a ride on Chiller today. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for the front, I'd guess the wait would have been around an hour and 15 minutes for the other seats.
I must say that is MUCH better with the lap bars (no headache) and the front right seat was simply amazing a far as the visuals go but, I thought the seat was "odd". I don't know exactly what the deal was but, it was like you were sitting too straight up (almost leaning foward a little) and you couldn't slide your butt back into the seat because of the lap bars or what I'd prefer to call "lower body restraints". I'm not sure exactly how it worked but, my right foot felt very squished in the restraint.
Also, the space on the floor of the coaster is very small and some people seemed to be having a very hard time getting into and out of the seats.
Sorry to complain...the ride is MUCH better but, those are my thoughts on it.

Just an update. As of yesterday, all 5 cars for Robin side are on the track now. I spoke with the ride maintenance guy working on it. He said Robin side should be operational by the end of this week and he did not expect the same problems that Batman side had. BTW, my first ride was in the front seat and the tophat is fabulous! I was able to get 4 rides in the first 30 minutes (GP had all raced over to Nitro when the rope dropped, but what do THEY know? ;) )
