Rumors and news are not french fries or chili or cheese or vinegar, nor are they salt and sour chips, Na'alaters, BBQ sauce or anything else discussed in this thread.
I'm afraid Chitown will have to delete yet more posts by ALF is cool and B&M rocks. Ah....hahahahahaha!!

(who just learned that Lays sells a salt and vinegar chip, too--Playette has some in the pantry)
2hostyl, the bunnies are CHOCOLATE and as such are covered under the "eat it before someone else does" rule...Peeps OTOH, are SO nasty...the eyes won't even dissolve in ACID, they're carnauba (sp?) wax and indestructable....doesn't sound like something to eat.
But regardless, Na'alaters are NOTHING in comparison to the best of ALL non-foods, the AWESOME watermelon flavor Jolly Ranchers, which I definitely wouldn't touch anymore for fear of getting dentures before my time....
Mayo on fries is disgusting, but I guess to each their own...
Mayo on anything, IMO, is disgusting. Especially at a park. Who knows how long that stuff has been sitting around.
I happen to really love the marshmellow peeps and bunnies. Hmmm, "peeps and bunnies." Is this turning into a Biggie track?
Keep all the gummi-products, and give me the Swedish Fish! :)

Oh and about Jolly Ranchers, we actually never *called* them Jolly Ranchers "in da hood" of Chi. For some reason they were only known as "Wine Candy" (to this day I dont know why).
ROTFLMAO! Of course you realize Playette grew up on the South Side (though she protests that she moved to Naperville at age 8 or 9.....so?) and there are certain shops in inner-city Minneapolis and St. Paul where you can still find Vitners. I'm surprised you never brought up Jay's Hotstuff, tho--especially if you like hot sauce on chips. Or Vitner's hot cheese curls, which I prefer a bit more for their merciless heat.
Buuut speaking of amusement park food AND keepin' it real (to deflect off-topic whining): Did you ever try CP's fried bologna sandwhich?

jeremy - Maybe it's because for most flavors of Jolly Ranchers, there is an equivalent flavor of Mad Dog or Boone's Farm. Never heard "wine candy," so it's just a guess.
Playa - Fried bologna sandwiches at CP? Where are those at? If you said Kennywood, I wouldn't have been surprised, as I always thought fried bologna was a Pittsburgh thing.
