chile cheese on your fries or vinegar?

Chris....  I have never seen Zap's chips, but just by coincidence this morning I saw an ad for a deli about 15 minutes from my house that sells them.  Maybe I will check them out.  Thanks.
Oh, btw, since you're from Chicago, surely you've had the hot dog that I described earlier on in this thread!  They are so good.  Those of you from Columbus, go to Wholly Joe's near the new Polaris Mall and get one.

now I am starting to miss the Utz brand chips from MD...did we switch potato products somewhere?
Den - You are a lucky man to have Zap's in your hometown.   I love a Chicago-style Dog.  You can read my ode to them in the "Coney Island Cyclone" thread.

Gator - Looks like FreakLogic and Hostyl flipped the script to chips.  It's all Potato Love...

For those of you who are grossing out at the thought of vineagar on your fries, I'll just say what my Mom used to say when I refused to eat something:

"Green Eggs & Ham!"

I like BBQ suace on my fires too! The Jack Daniels stuff kicks royal butt!  Den, Ever been to one of those "Great Steak and Potatoe" places they have in some of the malls? They have the vinegar right out on the counter so you can put as much as you want on your fries. God, that place rocks too! I might have to make a trip into Merriville to the mall..lol.  YUM! :)

I think it depends on where your from but vinegar that just seems odd. I can dip cheese and the fry wont get soggy.

You like to put 911 sauce on Hooters? Oh sorry, it's my *slight* dyslexia kicking in again.....

Besides, if we were really shutting down people we disagreed with, would Jeremy (2Hostyl) still be around? :) I think not. - Jeff 1/24/02

Jeremy was probably reading your post while trying to pick bits of Sour Apple Na'alaters from his teeth.

You can always spot the kids raised on Na'alaters by the number of fillings in their molars. :P

What's with that stuff?  It's too hard to suck (especially with those sharp corners), too sticky to chew and there's no getting the remnants from your back teeth....short of gnawing something hard and hoping it just wears off.

I write this post gravely fearing what Jeremy will bring up next...

-'Playa

Ahh the nostalgia.  All my candy consumption in high school consisted of "na'laters", mary janes and bazooka joe gum.  But back to the subject, I have never heard of vinegar on fries until today, (must be a suburban thing)  :)

Salt and ketchup baby........
also beware of SFDL's so called "fresh cut" fries. Just because they have the skins on them, it dosent mean they are fresh cut! I was so mad.

Fries get ketchup or mayo.

Den, Ravenguy: i think there are a few Tom Leykis listeners out there.
