chile cheese on your fries or vinegar?

I'll just take a raw potato along with a cold glass of lemon water to wash it down.  YUM.

Cheese if it's really good.  Other wise either salt or beef gravy.
I love all those toppings as long as I have my tumms as a side order.

Fries are meant to have 2 things placed on them...cheese curds and gravy...woe to he who tries to find this dish outside of Canada though :-)

I actually ordered fries similar to Poutine (the proper name for the above dish) at KW last year (of course the curds were replaced with cheese sauce...) and they actually turned out much tastier than I would have expected.

Forget coasters, I want some Patch fries and HW fudge! :-)

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
At Conneaut, fries with LOADS of vinegar makes the bottom of the cup give out.. remember that so you don't make the same mistake I did ;)

If I'm at CP, then its chili cheese fries..

If the vinegar doesn't burn your nose, you don't have enough on. Kennywood's Potato Patch rules supreme, with all the fixin's for free.

You guys eat actual vinigar with your fries. Vinigar even smells horrible. I would prefer ketchup or cheese.

I like cheese, chili and vinegar on fries, but would pick cheese as my favorite.  Cholesterol city!

I Germany the preferred condiment is mayonaise, YECCHH!  I found this at Phantasialand and Holiday Park.
I'm from Maryland, so I not only prefer vinegar on my fries, but also Old Bay Seasoning. If you're from the mid-atlantic, you know what I mean.
Old Bay is some nasty S-H! It's like the consistancy of Lawry's seasoning salt with the tastes of shrimp cocktail sauce. Personally, I dont get the fascination.

But what really suprises me is that NOT ONE person has yet mentioned Bar-B-Que sauce. I would MUCH rather have BBQ sauce on fries than anything else...

Andre's fries at SFGAm with vinegar!  Andre's was much better in the pre SF days though.  Is that fry place in Farmers Market still called Andre's though?

Hmmmmmm.......Why am I not surprised?

We're not talking about what you top them with at home in your kitchen--we're talking about an in-park experience..  Yeesh.

What are you gonna do--open 12 packets of food-service Kraft stuff?  Or do you run to the parking lot, fries falling from your container, to your car's glove compartment....where I'm guessing you stash your backup bottle?

Talk about lettin' it all hang out.  Dang.

Playa -- thanks for the laugh.  You're right, though -- I can't remember any park (even Kennywood!) that doesn't just hand you the little packets when you ask for BBQ sauce.  It's good, but inconvenient...

(I DO have to agree with Jeremy that it's good stuff, though)

I hate those packets.  I use about 30 of the ketchups on a large McDonald's fries.

Anyway, I have a chili cheese fry souvenier.  In 1993 I went to SFGAm and got fries, but I dropped a big wad of cheese and it landed on my shoe.  I still have those shoes and the stain is still there!

cheese definitly....and chili too, if it tastes ok.  i personally hate vinegar...makes me sick!  so far i think the best theme park fries ive had are (dont laugh) the cheese fries at Hollywood Cafe at SFA.  actually...come to think of it.....i think i had some at Hersheypark in Midway America section....yeah, they werent cheesy though...but yeah, i remember them...they rocked!! :)

jeremy, Carolina Gold IS BBQ sauce...but not the ketchup-based...it's mustard-based, vinegar-y, and DELICIOUS!  mmm.....

As for Old-Bay, you MUST remember my front door growing up looked out on the Chesapeake...still have family there.  The stuff is fantastic on crabs, shrimp, chicken, even POPCORN...try it, you'll be surprised.  The other "hidden" use, BTW, is for bee-stings - works great!
