Celebration City: 2004 and BEYOND

I think that Celebration City will eventually get a BM inverted. I think it would be a nice star attraction along with Ozark Wildcat. Therefore, the main park, SDC will get a BM hyper or maybe an Intamin hyper, but some sort of hyper. I would think they would build a BM hyper because I don't think they have any Intamin coasters and seem to like BM.
I agree with you on the Invert.

But not sure about the hyper for the main park...

SDC has already decided on a ride for 04

I think that the next coaster for SDC should be a wooden terrain twister with lots of airtime. I don't know how they are thinking about it now with Wildcat, but a twister through the trees and up and down the hills would fit so well into SDC. The only problem I see with a hyper is that it would stick above the treeline. If you've ever been, you can see that no SDC rides rise above the tree line. They could but it down in a valley, similar to Wildfire, but they couldn't make it too high. Don't get me wrong though, I would love to see a hyper.
I agree with you on the woodie...
SDC is the perfect park for a terrain twister.

Cory, that is what sets SDC aside from all other parks.

I wonder if SDC will ever build resorts...

those would be awesome.

I also wonder if CC will get their own website ;)

Bill, Thought I'd let you know that we have switched servers and sites. MiG is now at http://mig.sfne.com We are undergoing a design change so things are not all up and working right now. -Ciao. Also if you could send those pictures again (if you still have them) to thritytwoproductions@hotmail.com I can get them back up ASAP. It seems we lost some files when we transfered over. :( Oh well though, this new server is much nicer.

Has anyone driven past the park lately?

Edit:
I was wonderin, do you guys really think there will be enough space for a new ride in the future in the old BUSA parking lot? It looks awfully small when looking at the sky shots from MIG. DO you think maybe they would just take out that corny Mag 7 theater?

Edit again: :)
Does anyone know when the track is arriving for Wildcat?

Weather update:
In Springfield we got 3 in. of snow and I think they were calling for 5 or so in Branson, so construction once again might have to take a break. (brrr it's cold outside)

Edit: this is the last one, I swear!

I was doing my daily looking at the Wildcat pics on MIG, and has anyone else noticed how over-banked that turn is after the second drop? wow!

Hmm, maybe you should just delete that post and start again. ;) Yes I do think there is room in the old parking lot for a coaster, except there won't be one going in there. They have plans for that area already - think rides. If I would have to guess, I'd say that another coaster would go up by the flume or in the grass area there by Thunderbolt with an entrance near Route 66 Speedway.

Forgot something, they are retheming the Mag7 theatre and it will be used for events when the park opens, probably much like the Red Gold Harvest Hall at SDC.

Yea, I thought about deleting it, but that wouldn't be any fun ;)

Oh really? thats good I guess. That Mag7 theater was never my favorite.

They do already have plans for it? I did not know that, but yea, that would be a good space for a coaster. (by Thunderbolt) Where is all of the extra land for the park? is it south of where the park is right now?

Big D, did you get the pictures???

"I often thought of becoming a golf club"

Ok from what little information they did tell us, they own land south of the park and then they own the land east of the parking lot.

As for the pictures, I got two of them. The one from the "park side" of Ozark Wildcat and then I got the one of WWB's slide pieces. The other two didn't come through. I was going to email you, but didn't get the chance.

I haven't decided when I will be going back. Since this is Valentine's weekend, I'm a little preoccupied :) Maybe the weekend after that? The thing is, I will be going to Orlando soon, so I will be out of town - I don't know when I will be going down, to tell you the truth.
