From the official Cedar Point site:
The legend and lore of mysterious creatures living beneath the surface of Lake Erie comes to life with Siren's Curse, North America’s TALLEST, LONGEST & FASTEST tilt coaster.
Often spoken of – but never spotted, the sirens of the lake who lured sailors to their underwater demise with their sweet, seductive songs will finally rise to the land above Cedar Point and attempt to entrap you in a sinister two-minute fate of non-stop roller coaster innovation.
The roller coaster will be 160 feet tall and reach a speed of 58 mph.
Where is the other? I guess I haven't been paying attention.

This sure came out of left field. The fact that Kings Dominion's 2025 coaster is ready for testing and this one doesn't even have survey markers yet leads to a lot of questions. Regardless, I'm suddenly very excited about 2025 at the Point with *two* major new coasters. (We can forget about the week that TT2 ran this year.)

what’s the difference between a drop coaster and a tilt coaster other than the gimmick of the tilt?
Everything?
This new ride will be a polar opposite... Quick, snappy and super intense. The tilt feature will likely be a lot more fun than a dive holding drop.
Valravn (and most other dive coasters) are often very poorly paced and only really offer a nice drop/view, otherwise they chug along the course like a freight train and are not very exciting, all things considered.
This is a great add for the park, for a steel coaster at least (maybe one day they will actually hire GCI to work some magic). The only other steel addition I could think of would be a Mack Xtreme Spinner, thrill coaster wise, to their diverse portfolio.
And all the kids can build this in Planet Coaster 2 in a month and a half!

Im glad they went with Vekoma, I just wish they would of actually went with an uber family coaster like big bear mountain… what they need more then a tilt.

Maybe they can move Gold Striker from Cali!
Considering Mystic Timbers climbing the rankings, Ghostrider holding strong, GoldStriker, Prowler, and Renegade. It’s not like old CF was GCI averse. But hey the rest of the island and snake rivers spot are still open. So one can only dream of a longer Mystic being put there.
Looks awesome! A few thoughts, bulleted for your pleasure:

I'm not sure what the point of the lift hill is if you are going to have a tilt...or what the point of the tilt is if you are going to have a lift hill. Maybe that is an ignorant question coming from someone who has not ridden a tilt rollercoaster.
I was wondering about capacity with only two trains...but if they can get TT2 open next year as well then maybe it is not the worst time to introduce a coaster with average capacity.
