CB event at SFGAm?

I would personally rather do something more like what they would do for Beastbuzz where you get 3-4 rides for "ERT" and spend a little bit of time on each one.

dont expect a ert sessions at sfgam with rides on either side of the park (superman and raging bull) because the transit time between the rides takes too much time for a limited ert period.
It's up to the park of couse, but I think you're wrong. Last year at PKI we hit the Scooby dark ride, Flight of Fear, Delirium and The Beast, in that order, in about 90 minutes. PKI is about the same size, maybe larger.

Yes, the way ERT was done at CBCon2002 at PKI was great...
Heck, having ERT on the whole new Mardi Gras section with the 4 rides would be great and then maybe some ERT on the Revolution.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

Well May 22 sounds SWELL! YAY! SO what is the expected cost of this event? LA la le la la la le la la la le la (Hey Look! I'm a Smurf!)

THE SCARIEST PART OF THE RIDE IS THE LIFT HILL!
I'm a little surprised no one's asked for ERT on Demon?

See Jeff, I told you I was opening up a can of worms.

I got to ride Flashback when it Z-Force at SFGAm. I actually liked it. Don't know how it is now. It was closed the only time I was at SFMM.

I spent exactly one day of my life at SFMM - Feb 1, 2003. On that day every coaster was operating and X was even running two trains. They must've known I was coming ;)

Flashback is so bad that it's funny. It's so bad that it almost goes full circle to being good again. Any coaster that's exhibited that much "suckitude" for so long and yet still exists is worthy of some sort of award.

It's still my answer to "what's the worst coaster you've ever ridden?" - although RC-48 at Morey's is pretty close.

Jeff,

May 22nd works good for me, but any weekend I have open I'd stiil be there and Beastbuzz for sure.

AFAIK, the only place that has ERT sessions where you take a few spins on a ride and then move on "en masse" to the next ride is at PKI. Personally, I kinda prefer being able to ride, go to the bathroom if needed ;), and then ride again or go to something else...but either way is MORE than fine....

For me, ERT is all about friends....oh, and night rides....;)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

I'd be able to attend a May 22nd event, and could probably drag several other non-passholders along as well.

However, have you thought about doing a fall/frightfest event? One cannot swing a dead cat without hitting a coaster event in the Spring .. but everything dries up by July 4th. Plus, you can't beat the atmosphere of a fall evening/night (yes, I'm suggesting evening/night ERT - and Viper would rule).

I know it's all subject to what the park will agree to, etc; and you'll be supported no matter what you plan .. just offering a suggestion. I'm just trying to think of something with a bit more life and engery than 70 guys riding a coaster over and over again at the crack of dawn!

At least you need a supervisor with you that has the keys to the Mens room in Rivertown :)

You can count me in for May 22. How is the "Staple Team" :)doing????????

No kidding Lumpy! I was ready to tie it in a knot and ride Beast, but thankfully, I didn't have to.
ready to staple on may 22
Well if we want ERT on 2 coasters we are going to need more then 75. We are going to need about 175.

Carlo

How about if everyone interested in this event put an entry into the Meeting Calendar for May 22nd. That way Jeff can get a ballpark figure of how many people are going.

There's a novel idea.

Just remember... the date still isn't final! :)

Heh. I was with that group. Thus we got 1 ERT ride on Beast instead of the 3-4 others got.

Jeff,
True, just thought you could get an idea of how many of us are interested. If you only had 20-30 you might end up rethinking the whole idea.

Jeff,

May 22nd works or pretty much any weekend works. I can for sure bring at least 2 others besides myself. A few of my other friends are also interested.

Any possbility of ever having an event on a Sunday? I know that many (or maybe even the majority) may specifically prefer a Saturday event, however many of us have busy saturday schedules too.... Just a thought.
