Catch the Michael Jackson adding a coaster bit?

about what Grant said about MJ being like Walt Disney in the sense that they both loved children. Although Walt loved children, he didnt sleep w/ them and hide his children's faces behind silly masks and such. Hands down, MJ is not like he used to be and never will be. His psych state is not good, he is stuck in the child faze of his life at 44, and doesnt seem to be getting out of it any time soon. That is just a little too crazy for me.

Let's not even compare Walt Disney and MJ. They share nothing in common. WD had the spirit of a child, but was a buisnessman, and adult.

You only gave evidence for "extramarital" sex, which I believe, outside of religion, even us athiests with agree with you on. To take it a step further, even if you're not married to someone, but you're in a committed relationship, I still think it's wrong. I wasn't married, but had been in a relationship with a girl for three years when she cheated on me, and it hurt like nothing I've ever felt. Marriage is not a prerequisite for that.

That being said, premartial had nothing to do with your argument. You can have premarital sex with many, many people, though not at the same time, and still maintain normal relationships with those people in the future, certainly not hurting them to the point that it would be devastating. If that were true, I doubt I could even get on the internet these days, much less out of my house.

Okay, then here's one for premarital sex: Your in a relationship with someone you are only physically attracted to, you don't have the skills needed to be a parent, or the love for the person you have premarital sex with, yet she becomes pregnant, and dosen't want a child. Now, all this, but your only 16. Tell me that dosen't cause hardships with you, her, and your parents. Even if you are of age, you can get STDs from premarital sex(yes, you CAN get it with sex after marriage, but only if one of you have gotten the STD from premarital sex, or possibly a blood transfusion), or unwanted pregnancy, or someone can get an emotional attachment that the other person dosen't feel.

I wasn't trying to preach in the first place, just to set straight what we believe, since the book he read from was not correct.

Now that our "Nutty Buddy" is back, I guess I'll have to change this...

Fair 'nuff answer for me. I disagree to an extent, but that's neither here nor there.

At any rate, back on topic, I

a) Hope that he gets a good Intamin hyper
b) decides to open the place to the public.

It'd be nice to have a coaster like that within a short drive of where I live. Some variety to Goliath never hurt anyone...

Totally understood, and if we weren't allowed to have differing opinions, what good would it be to be human. I do want to point out, though, that I don't mean that you WILL have problems w/premarital sex, but it CAN increase risk of psycological and physical harm.

Now back On topic:

Now lets be serious, Tom, if MJ does get a coaster, the height requirements will probably be 48" tall and under, if you know what I mean...;)

I'm going to try to get this thread back on track (good luck to me). How do you become a ride operator at Neverland? I mean, are you on call whenever he wants to use the park? Are you a paid employee on his staff?

I've wondered the same thing, Dude. I would LOVE to be employed as a ride op for MJ. I assume that if one is a ride opp for MJ, one muight also have other duties like ride maintanance and grounds keeping. just a thought...

While comparing MJ to Disney is a strech to say the least, MJ is known in the music industry as perhaps the ultimate besinessman. He's a weirdo, no doubt, but that's no reason to throw out all his acomplishments as well. The man now *owns* the Bealtle's music. He didn't manage that by being an idiot.

Actually I believe he doesn't own the Beatles music anymore. He put them up as collateral against the 8 figure budget of his last album! (He booked 3 or 4 different studios because he didn't know what one he'd feel like recording in on a given day...can you believe it!?) I read all of this in an AP article before the record was released. Judging by the fact that I never heard a peep after it was released, I doubt it sold the "bajillion" copies it needed to to retain those assets. Anyone know for sure?

edit: Just looked it up.....he spent $30 million on "Invincible" and wrote 84 songs. Renting 3 studios every day was not an idea the record label liked backing, so he give them beatles stuff as the collateral. Never heard who kept them in the end.....

Back to the subject... I think Jackson would by a galaxi (used) from a carnival ride corperation.

M:TR is not funny anymore to me, you people seem to have killed it. ( =

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, roller coasters (Homer Style)

I saw something about Michael Jackson Unmasked or something and I thought I saw a kid or one of his kids riding a little green rollercoaster. Is that at his park? I think he will get a small rollercoaster (max 50 ft high). I wonder what he will show tomorrow night. . .
So I guess I was right that he had a little rollercoaster at his park. They showed a lot more of Neverland tonight in the tv special - which I thought they should have done in the other interview as well. Bashir was way wrong in twisting Michael Jackson like the way he did. . .
Didn't know this thread was on the new FOX special as well. Yes it was definitely a "Dragon Wagon". Which is not much of a coaster IMHO. That said ... I ride them :)

Yeah, I think I rode one in Europe somewhere. . . don't remember where, but yeah I'll agree, a coaster is a coaster and I'll ride them too. Too bad he didn't purchase Thriller/ Texas Tornado/ Zonga (perhaps too rough for most kids) but if I had as much money as he does, I would buy a small wooden coaster, a wild mouse and perhaps a corkscrew type coaster to get the park going.
i just think the guy is weird and he should get a s&s turbo shot
