Real park executives wear Armani and drink Cristal. You, on the other hand, wear Bugle Boy and drink Welch's. Maybe you could try to at least grow a beard or something. Then maybe parks will start giving you attractions. It's all about appearance and presentation. Right now, you've got the persona and charm of Steven Urkel.

You need to check your memory there Harry Traver. I was at the press and A.C.E. opening for Vortex and it was early 1992 . The first Paramount ride was Day Of Thunder in 1993 followed by Wayne's World in 94. If Paramount had already bought the chain then Vortex would not have gotten the name it got. It would have been Paramount themed.Vortex was new for 92.

You misunderstood. I said I was at the Vortex press day ANNOUNCEMENT in August of 1991. It was held at the old Sound Circus tent in front of the monorail/speedway. I still have the press kit. I was also at the press day OPENING for Vortex in 1992. I realize Vortex was not a Paramount coaster although the Paramount takeover was well in the works as far back as late 1991 when Vortex was announced.

Is that why *every* Paramount park has a coaster named Vortex?? Clearly, Vortex *is* a "Paramount theme."
Clear, Vortex *is* a Kings Entertainment theme.

Anyway, I kinda like funky old rides. Guess I'll have to go to Disneyland for my sternwheeler rides from now on.
