And I quote.." MOST RIDES WORLDWIDE!
Six Flags Great Adventure has more rides than any other theme park on the planet"
Um..I don't think so and how can they claim this?
Where are they getting their count from?

Haven't we been over the subbed in photos and footage before? Yes, Six Flags usees photos of other coasters to advertise. How many people know? 0.01%. How many care? 0.0001%.

A rollercoaster? What's that?
And Dorney has used Raptor in their commercials as well...
but WHAT are they counting as rides? The dolphin show? I don't think they have the most, and they definately don't have more then Cedar Point or SFMM...:rolleyes.....................

A few years back (2000?) they added 30 new rides to become a "SUPERPARK" as they coined it. At that time I am pretty sure that they did have the most rides of any park in the world. My gripe is that half of them have been closed the times I was there.
Wouldn't they still hold the record?

They also took out about 6 or so this year..they don't advertise being a MEGAPARK..they CLAIM to have "the MOST rides"...
I'm gonna call them on it and see what they say and what they are indeed counting...
They count every animal in the safari as a attraction?
I believe it is either CP or that resort in england that has the most attractions.

They currently use photos of CP on some of the Camp Snoopy related shirts. There's a couple different designs of peanuts characters with a faded shot of corkscrew behind them.
This year's Dorney commercials feature only Dorney Park coasters.
As far as the SFGAdv line, only an enthusiast would care about a marketing phrase like that. It's about selling the park.

You know, its pretty obnoxious saying stuff like ,"They must count bathrooms as attractions.". Have you ever been to SFGADV? They do have a lot of rides, then again they did take out about 4 this year. Heres how they claim the most rides, they count the upcharge attractions.
Now it was true that SFGADV did have the most rides at one point in time, but now after several ride removals I think that they might be right behind Cedar Point.
"Heres how they claim the most rides, they count the upcharge attractions. "
Then that is considered false advertising and someone should call them on it. Those are NOT considered rides.
I have taken it upon myself to write SFGAD a letter asking what they indeed count as a "ride" towards their count.
Maybe something will come out of this..
