I know it's not about the Vote Ups and that you shouldn't just post with that in mind but, as Dave and Mike's posts both prove, great posts get attention.

It'd be kind of neat to have a "Top 10 posts" list somewhere. Just a simple, real-time, list of the posts that have the most +1's.

I get that it could be construed as taking focus from the conversation and making it about the people and the game, but I think it could point people to what the community feels is good conversation.

Or maybe add "This member's top posts" to the profile layout? A list of that person's top 3 or top 5 vote-getting posts.

Before you know it, we'll be ranking posts. I put Vater's bran muffin classic in the top 25, but 'Tighty Whitey Twister' has dropped out of my personal 100...

Giving Gemini an RMC makeover would be disrespectful to Gemini.
