Antique cars will be nice, although I would think that there is a more scenic spot in the park for a ride like that than by Zoomerang, which is IMHO one of the least picturesque spots at LC. It's basically a small field with a Boomerang in the middle of it, not too many trees or anything else to look at. Then again, the park does seem a little short on room so maybe that's the only place they could put a sprawling ride like that?
Hmmm........HMMMMMM.....nah....
You have disturbed the forbidden temple, now-you-will-pay!!!
We planned on the ol' hit-and-run in the first half of our day, followed by the same approach at Quassy then an early drive into NYC when we hit the area in 2002.
We ended up closing the park at LC, skipping Quassy altogether, getting into NYC way too late and made a point to let them know what a great park they had on the way out. Some big LC fans at the Gonchar mansion. :)
And I still list Boulder Dash as my #1 woodie in Mitch's wood poll.
LC is small park charm done the right way.
PARK, however? Let's just say that the Gonchar mansion AND the gator hovel, er, swamp both house BIG fans of LC...
P.S. My second visit was still daytime, but with better results on BD. "Charm"....in abundance...and then some. :)
