BooBuzz 2007 at Cedar Point

So how does the ERT work? Is it in the morning? Night? Which days? Which rides when?

Thanks

Jeff has not released any details yet. IIRC, Last year was a Saturday during Halloweekends. We had ERT in the morning and at night. Plus a behind the scenes look at the makup/costume staging area for Halloweekends.

There was no ERT at night. Just an hour in the morning.

Having recently gotten in the park early as a resort guest, I can say that Skyhawk had no one waiting to ride it AT ALL for almost the entire hour. This is with Maverick, Millennium, and Raptor also running during ERT.

This got me thinking. Is Skyhawk really a worthwhile ERT at anytime? If the Cbuzz group is only 80 or so people, how many are going to want to ride Skyhawk instead of Maverick? Or rather, how many are going to want to ride Skyhawk more than once? However, if it were MF instead...

I'm not trying to be ungrateful for ERT. I just don't think CP should be offering it anymore for resort guests or group events. I mean, from 10-11 AM on most days the ride is STILL a walk on.

I think its probably more of a stand by ride in case one of the others is not up and running in time.

I think it is because it is in close proximity, I say Mean Streak ERT ftw... jk

I think personally it depends on each individual rider. For me, 2-3 rides on Maverick will have me set for the day. My daughter, (providing she hits the 52" mark by October) will probably go 4-5 rides, but she also totally loves Skyhawk. It's easily her favorite non-coaster ride out there.

I really believe Maverick & Skyhawk give a good balance to the whole ERT. Well, worth the time to make the 3-hour trip for us.

If we can just work around my sons 4th birthday the night before we'll be great.

Jeff, do you have any idea when you will have all the details available for BooBuzz? BooBuzz sounds great, but my friends keep pushing me for details before we decided what to do.

Will the cost for a guest be the same as the cost for a Costerbuzz member? What time will the morning ERT start? Will we also get the standard ERT that is offered for resort guests?

Hey Jeff...

I have a question regarding to this event.. if we are going to have ERT time from 10:00 to 11:00... what are the possibilty that we can do between 11 to 12 before Cedar Point is open to public? Excuse me if this is a stupid question or anyhthing. This is my first coaster events... so I'm new with all this. I'm looking forward to be a part of it. I hope I get my membership card soon. I paid for it last week. See you at the park!

Since you'll already be in the park, you can enjoy the rides that are open for early entry. Millennium Force, Maverick, Skyhawk and Raptor.

Yeah, they're not exactly going to boot you out at that point, so you're still "in."

Since I can't find it anywhere, I was wondering if my membership card will be sent in time for this event? I haven't been to CP in a couple of years and had to renew in anticipation of CB. It's been a number of weeks now.

Any assistance would be awesome.

Thanks!
