My #1 dissapointment has got to be Mean Streak at CP.
I love the rough rides that most wooden coasters dish out, but the braking and headache factor was a little too much.
Also, how can anyone of sane mind say that the beast is unexciting? the final helix is still among the best, most intense coaster experiences on the planet, especially at night...just my opinion of course.
Mine would have deffinatly been the frontwards Racer. I first rode the backwards and I loved it. For some reason forwards wasn't as fun then.

You can't run and you can't hide...the beasts at PKI
MILLLENIUM FORCE is by far my biggest dissapointment. The design was ok, the first drop was great, but the lift hill was way too fast. It eliminated all the scariness of the ride. :(

I've only really been disappointed with a ride once: S:ROS at SFDL. The first year. I was overanalyzing it, and surrounded by thoughts of: does it have airtime at this spot, does it have good Gs here, etc. IT ruined it for me. I got off thinking "Ahh...it was good, but not GREAT." After that, I made myself swear that whenever I got on a coaster from then on, I'd save all impressions till I was off the ride, and just RIDE it.
I had a hard time doing that on MF, and my first ride was great, but not nearly as great as I thought it'd be. When I rode it the second time, I had lowered expectations, and that ride absolutely blew me away! Awesome. I went back to ride S:ROS later last summer, and sure enough...it too is an awesome ride. Your mind can totally influence how you veiw a coaster. If you're expecting the best, or you have already decided that it's not going to be a good ride...you'll be disappointed.

P.S. I've always thought Magnum was an Ok coaster...then I had one ride on it last summer that made me just sit there after the final brake run and say "WOW!"

GOLIATH was the coaster I wanted to ride the most last year (aside from Millennium Force) and I was totally disappointed. The drop was good but not great. The ride could be improved if the first turn was banked heavier.

SFGA always seems to come up with some big letdowns...namely Skull Mountain and the Viper. Also, believe or not, the Dueling Dragons at Universal I.O.A...I just expected so much more, I enjoyed the dueling aspect of Hershey's Lightning Racer much more.
Magnum was MUCH rougher than I ever could have expected. Raptor was also quite dull, IMO, even in the back right seat.(Don't get mad, just my opinion). I loved MF though.

In my neck of the woods I would have to say that Goliath was a small let down. After the 3rd hill the ride is weak. The helix is intense but the ride was way to short for a hyper. I understand that it was the first for Gio but come on, several bunny hops would have added to the attraction.
The only other ride I can think of is Kong at SFMW. They should have waited and got something else. I guess it was the Hangman before Kong. Even though it has a new paint job and newer trains, it still struggles getting through some of it's loops. Can you say "Push-Pull-Hang-and-Bang."
