Bible Park USA

oooh That was bad! What about a "Seven Deadly Sins" ice cream parlout? Each flavor is more sinful AND devilish than the last.

So they're buying Great Adventure's GASM? Each inversion could represent a sin.

First vertical loop: Extravagance/lust- "Wow, that's a tall loop!"

Second vertical loop: Gluttony- "No such thing as too many vertical loops."

Third vertical loop: Greed- "Okay, maybe you can have too many vertical loops."

Boomerang (first element): Sloth- "Damn mid-course brake!"

Boomerang (second element): Wrath- "SUFFER!!!"

Corkscrew (first element): Envy- "I envy everyone not riding this thing."

Corkscrew (second element): Pride- "I actually survived this piece of crap!"

Then again, we could just pay Kevin Smith to design th Dogma Theme Park, which would be a hell of a lot more interesting.

A Chance Toboggan will of course be featured in the Spanish Inquisition section of "Persicution Through the Ages" area of the park.

Not sure about a carousel, but that SURE eliminates the possibility of any *cloned* rides... :)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Sounds like a traditional darkride is out of the question. Too bad... Phantasmagoria would probably have been a good fit otherwise.
Traditional dark ride is not really out of the questions. Just needs some creative name like "Preview of Hell!" or "Look Out, Sinners!"

And forget Mr.Six and the "It's Play Time" promotion of Six Flags...

This park will have The Church Lady with the tag line "Well isn't that special..."

I'm honestly surprised some christian hasn't flipped out at this joking yet. As for me I'd go to the park if it was decent. I don't really know what to believe about the stories though, they are most likely wishful thinking. I guess if I'm wrong I'll be eternally tortured.
Maybe the darkride could be themed to purgatory?
I am a Christian that goes to church every week and can't stand much non Christian music. I pray more then once a day most days. I would personally go to a bible themed park to try it atleast once but I also understand most people aren't in the same belief as me and I am not going to try and force my beleif on someone who dosen't want to hear it. I respect anyone else's decision. I am also in the belief that a park like this would never work.
Maybe they could resurrect CLP's HellHole and call it The Pits of HellHole! (it had the devil on the overhang.)

All depends on how you look at it.

Personally, I view these posts as poking fun at what sounds like a loopy idea for a park, and not at Christianity as a whole.

Some Christians (more than you might think based on mainstream media's ratings-whoring) actually DO have a sense of humor. Lumping all Christians in one big group is no less wrong than lumping all Muslims together.... ;)

Required listening: Depeche Mode's "People are people"... :)

Well said Gator. Some of "us" do enjoy laughing at ourselves.

Thank You Gator. We are not all uptight pricks that go around damning people for all eternity.
What if I don't really subscribe to any kind of religion? Can I still visit and mock everyone else and their views? ;)
^only if you dress like a Monty Python Holy Grail character.

Hey, if I can't laugh at myself, then I have no right to laugh at (or is it with?) anyone else. God's wacky sense of humor is evidenced in all things.

I've decided that the word *Christian* has to be "taken back" by those who practice instead of being held hostage by those who only preach. Cue up the Blues Brothers and call it "A Mission From God". :)

Haha word. Love that movie Gator!

Gator, being a Christain means showing the world by living the basic principles of life: Love Thy Neighbor, Shining your light [joy] upon the world. Little things.
