Another thing to consider here is operating costs
While WT looks like it provides better thrills (gotta love the launch and free-fall), it is going to cost quite a bit of cashola to run. The LIMs/LSMs are needed on nearly every pass-through. For B:DK, you only need power to bring the train up the hill.
I agree that it's a question of what's right for the park. The world's smalledt floorless coaster would not fit Cedar Point very well, regardless of how good it is. The GP at Cedar Point would have said that it pales in comparison to the two larger B&M's in the park simply because of its size. I personally believe that BDK is just as good, if not better than Raptor and Mantis.
As much as some enthusiasts have bashed CP for building WT and not something more impressive, I think it was a good move. As was said above, the ride offers several features that no other coaster at The Point can offer. While enthusiasts may be unimpressed by it, I guarantee it will be a major hit with the GP.
In response to your question, when talking about a comparison between the Impulse and B&M, I'd choose the B&M. I think it has a greater variety of sensations, particularly if I owned my own park was looking to invest $9 million in a major coaster.

It is not a clone it twists two time were as Superman at SFwoa just does it once and only on one tower were WT does two towers and if it is so cheap why don't you build on yourself and invite me over to ride it sometime.
