I, for one, can't wait for the Italian Job to open...looks awesome to me!

...the "Most Improved by Darkness" award, IMO, goes to little sister Raven. That *5th hill-mist-"S"turn* especially in the backseat is an experience to treasure. After that, I'd have to say S:ROS @ SFA in the pitch-black is amazing. Even that much maligned straight track before the 3rd hill is more exciting.
Well said, as usual, on both counts...Supes at night is still the only steel coaster to make me literally weak in the knees in a non-event setting...those RoSs are the ultimate steel *non-Anton* creations.
All that being true, ANY coaster, ANY flat, is just better after dark, when the lights come on and the park takes on a new life...ALWAYS hard for me to leave a park at night.
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
The Beast: The name says it all.
Wildfire: Only runs at night near and durring the Christmas Season. Its real awesome with very little light pollution from the nearby cities, you can really see the stars in the sky. If you can get the crew to turn off the lights it will even be better.
Powder Keg: I bet this one will beat Wildfire when it comes to Christmas Time. I am hoping there issn't gonna be as many lights on this ride as there was for Wildfire. Also much of this ride is in the woods so it most likely to be dark there.
Chris Knight
Nitro - Most of the ride is in the woods at the back of the park, nothing but blackness.
Millennium Force - Love the lights on the lift, the View of the park at night from the lift, and how fast it feels at night.
Beast - flying buy the trees in the dark, nothing is better.

I haven't ridden MF at night yet, but I hear it's great. SRoS @ SFDL is pretty good, its course isn't lit after the lift hill...
Millie at night is scary as hell. You tend to underestimate just how high you are because the lift goes so fast, but that first drop at night feels so much steeper...that, and the fact that, when the fog rolls in just right, you can't see the ground and have no concept of how long you're gonna drop. It's a pretty amazing experience.
The one ride that surprised me at night though was Drop Zone at PKD. They have these large white flood lights that point up at the tower. If you're on the Richmond side, once you start climbing higher and higher, you feel very disconnected from the park, like you're on the only ride at PKD. You're not quite sure where anything else is and you lose perspective of how high you are. Staying with the PKD theme, Tomb Raider Firefall is just amazing at night due to all the fire.
