Best looking coaster?

There was a thread on the Guide to the Point site about the aesthetics of MF. That got me thinking, what is the best looking coaster? I am not talking about the quality of the ride, but how the coaster looks visually. My vote would have to be for Mean Streak. It has a very powerful look, with all of its wood and big sweeping curves. What does everyone else think is the best looking coaster?
I think Montu is the best looking coaster. I like the Eygptian ruin theme with the coaster flying in the trenches.

Anyone take a look at SFMW's Medusa? This coaster is a work of art!

There's something cool about the color scheme on SWF's Kraken.

Other than that, Mean Streak is among the best looking I've ever seen (even if the ride itself is terrible). MF is also amazing in person, as the photos do it no justice. Son of Beast is an amazing thing to see. Lightning Racer gets bonus points because of the stations.

Well, lets see, Thunder Mountain at Disneyland is pretty cool lookin. I also think Revolution at SFMM is great because of the setting and picturesque loop. I also think Psyclone looks great but the ride plain sucks.

I may not know for sure the best looking but I know the ugliest. That award goes to MAGNUM FORCE. It's hideous, admit it. Second place goes to Flashback at SFMM.

In my opinion themeing and landscape have alot to do with what makes a coaster look great. Something so many unfortunately, do not have.

I think everyone has Mean Streak on there list of realy cool looking coasters. But the ride is much diffent from the look. But I stilllike it. Uum Pamremount Carowinds Top Gun. And over head sites of the Beast, It looks like its just peaking hear and there out of the woods.
I think the Gemini and the Mean Streak are cool look'n {cedar point}.
I think the Lightning Racer at Hershey is a work of art. The two curving drops, The first turnarounds diving toward each other. It's just an awsome site from outside the park. I'd love to live in one of the houses 50 yards or so from the fence. What could be better than to have this beauty sitting out across the street from your house.
My second Place goes to Twister at Knoebles. The station sits in the center of the double helix. There is one section that 6 layers of track are above one another! It's just a awsome looking coaster.

MAGNUM FORCE? whats that?
Yeah Kraken is definately cool. Even the supports that hold up the lift hill looks kinda serpantly. How they seem to almost move wavelike. Add with the beauty of B&M's spline shaped track, it is very cool.
It's gotta be Big Thunder Mountain railroad at Magic Kingdom (Disney world) It's not scary, just plain fun.
Haha, my bad!!

I meant Magnum XL 200.
I guess I had force on the brain.
Magnum Force by the way was that Clint Eastwood movie from years back. Hope that clears things up.

Personally, I think that Kumba and Alpengheist are the best looking coasters I have ever seen. Kuma has the awsome tropical paint job and the landscaping is phenomanal. Alpengheist has the best possible look of all for an inverted coaster, complete with ski lift towers holding up the lift hill.
I would have to agree that Mean Streak is a very nice ride visually, especially as you approach Gemini from Magnum.

SFO's Villain, in my opinion, is also a visual treat, especially as you approach the park on Route 43. It'll be interesting as to how they are going to light it up at night.

Wow! Everyone seems to be mentioning most of the coasters I was thinking of.

I would have to agree that landscaping and a good theme are both important when considering looks.

Theme wise I would have to pick Matterhorn at Disneyland and Montu at Busch Tampa.

Landscape wise my picks would be the very lush foliage of the Kumba and an old favorite of mine, the former Big Bend at SFoT.
I think Vortex at PCW look vary good. esspecially hot it's lift goes on top of the Mountain it is nice.
Mean Streak is by far, the most powerful looking coaster I have seen, but Montu's theming is out of sight, plus the ride diving in and out of the tunnels and trenches is great eye candy. Alpengeist is a very close second when it comes to theming. The Loch Ness monster is a historical favorite (I say historical, since it's 20 years old.)

There's nothing like a woodie...
SOB. It's beautiful to look at, and even smells like a lumberyard. (I guess that's cause it's made of... wood.)
actually Magnum force is the name of a roller coaster in England somewhere. It is in fact the only new coaster opening in England this year. I thought it is kinda a rip off of CP's Magnum and Millenium Force.
CP's Mantis- the bright colors of yellow, purple and pink (was red) really make this coaster stand out in photographs, especially the spot where you can get a shot of the lift through the dive loop. I wish they'd light up the first half better at night and kill the lights on the back "mess."
