The Lockness Monster expidition stuff in the queue, the way during 3 train operation two trains go through the loops at the same time and of course the tunnel.
The entire Escape to Pompeii ride
The entire Thunder Mountain set, so tame a coaster but its the senery that makes it a classic
On second thought lets just throw in any Disney ride made pre 1998
SFGAm's (and most others) B:TR blasting the Batman theme
The Hulk launch sequence

Summer 03-CP, HP, SFDL, SFNE, SFWOA, and SFGAm.
-Lights on the MF 1st drop towers @ night
-Overbank over the queue on MF
-Fog at the bottom of Sros @ dl
-Lights going up and down Mantis @ night
-Hulk's queue line
Of course, my two favorite "touches" are still those on KW's Racer and CP's Gemini....:)
There are others I cant think of but ill get back to you
A great touch.

Without the chaindog, you'd never get up the lifthill...
The same goes with the Whirlwind. Although the ride isn't anything to brag about those over grown trees do make it tough to see whats around the corner!

I've always liked tunnels to the lift especially on old coasters
Gotta agree on that one, except my favorite happens to be on a very new coaster-Nemesis Inferno. As the floor drops for the train to leave the station, eerie pounding bass music plays until the next train arrives in the station. The train that just left swoops down a pretty good sized drop (much bigger than I was expecting) which leads to the pre-lift tunnel that's filled with fog and red lights.
Very, very good way to start out a ride.
By the way, the coasters at Alton Towers have many nice touches as well. I especially enjoyed the creepy "Don't look down" voice on Oblivion.
Little touches are what set apart some of the best rides, in my opinion.
Nemesis and its "beeaauutiful rust"
Dueling Dragons castle cannot be emphasized enough
Rock 'n' Rollercoaster's video intro is pretty neat
GASM at SFOG's decapitation effect before the breakrun
Journey to Atlantis's trick return and theme
Hypersonics' stern warning about keeping your head back and arms in the car, darn good advice!
I second:
Hulk's line, Kraken's lair, and Space Mt.

Is that a Q-bot in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
The Bobsled shaped cars with the countrys flags and colors on alpine Bobsled
The old Style station on the Comet
The red Neon Lights in the bottom of the first tunnel of S;Ros at SFNE
Millenium forces cool music
The sand under the loading platform For Wicked Twister
The Bavarian town on Big Bad wolf
The ski thheming on Alpengesit ( if only they had snowmaking machiness in the tunnels)

GEFANATIC!!!
Magnum: the train disbatching over you if you come in from the breakers entrance. I also like how the last 2 tunnels hide the bunny hops so you dont know when their coming.
WT: The sand is fun and the emblem is sweet. Besides those I love how the front spike nearly crashes into the Disaster Transport building, and the suspence before the launch when the ride ops taunt you.
MF: Sweet effects at night. First off, the lights on the lift are awesome. Secondly, if your in line around closing, fireworks sometimes pop up behind the last overbanked turn just as the train crests it...
TTD: Didnt ride because it was broken then, but the theming looks great, and I'd love the launch(according to simulations)

-All the theming on DD (the trains w/ the dragons' mouths are sweet)
-RnRC's "alley" setting, and the music during the ride is spectacular
-Orient Express's walk through the forest and past the ride
-Wildfire's mist, the observation deck are awesome
-And who can forget Mamba's "CP" themed area ;-)
Just about anything at WDW has it. My favorites are Test Track's "assembly line" (maybe my favorite queue ever) and ToT's "basement."
