Best and Worst Coaster to Marathon

^^Someone did. It's called Coasting For Kids, Sunday at Cedar Point. Part of the event is seven hours on Gemini. Maybe not 100 rides, but I'm sure some will come close :)

Hmm...this is a hard question...For best...I'd say Bizarro (Six Flags New England), Maverick, El Toro, and Boulder Dash are all great marathon coasters since you won't get disoriented, they aren't rough, and are a lot of fun!

For worst...I'd have to say any Vekoma SLC, Vekoma Boomerang, Zamperla Volare, or Stand-up. Ouch! Some stand ups (like some of the B&M ones) aren't that bad but yeah...ow ow ow...

As a contributor to my Coasting For Kids page, he's probably aware... he just didn't include #wry humor tags#. Or a winkyface. ;)

Gotcha. Thanks, Bird. Sorry, robotfactory. I wasn't being sarcastic, though. You'll notice the lack of Boes marks to sandwich my post. Thanks for supporting CFK!

When I think of marathoning I think of that Richard Rodrigues chap who's made a career of it. His most notable accomplishment, as far as I'm concerned, was back in 2001 with 100 straight days on St. Louis' The Boss. He must have a screw loose. I can manage two rides on that coaster a day, and only if they're spaced well enough apart! Had I been him I wouldve chosen the Screamin' Eagle for long lasting comfort.

My best type of coaster to marathon would be a nice little wooden out and back, like CP's Blue Streak. With the right kind of pillow I could probably nap.

I thought his post was a reference to the old Gemini 100 thing a bunch of people did.

That's it, Gonch. 12 years later and I'm still disappointed I couldn't make it. :(
